Kap’s contract is very team friendly, only really guaranteed for injury. They’re probably trying to protect him while giving him time to evaluate and relieve some pressure. They might let him go (they can) if they sign a first round QB but it’s probably unlikely. Gabbert isn’t going to do any good. If he does with the horrible situation on the OLine with receivers and running backs well… then they’ll consider dropping Kap. When he gets similar results they wont.

Trade for Kaep they said. He’s an immediate upgrade over Bradford they said. He’s the QB of the future they said.
While that’s true the guy was a star in college and his pro career has been hurt by injuries and having to start for the Jaguars lol.
Gabbert is a drop back quarterback with a quick release and he knows the system, he might do alright. Kap wasn’t running the ball like he used to either so the team isn’t losing out there either.
Also Saitsu you know this means you’re MORE likely to get Kaepernick right? If Gabbert does well AND the Niners draft a good prospect Kaepernick suddenly becomes very tradeable as he has a flexible, team-friendly contract. If you guys don’t take him there are a number of teams that might come calling. There is a quarterback drought and Cam Newton is proving that dual-threat quarterbacks are still a threat in the NFL.

If the Eagles get Kaep I’m straight done. Find me in the obituaries.

Ken Whisenhunt has been fired in Tennessee.
lol. He’d be fine doing what he does in the pistol or with read-options in a system where he’s asked to run as well as pass. Basically any team wanting him needs to want a college offence which Chip seems to. What Kap’s not good at doing is the whole drop back, fast, short pass thing which is what’s being asked to do currently. The spotlight of the Bay and the 9ers seems to effect him a fair bit as well.

give me your thoughts on vernon davis’ play from the past few seasons, i was arguing on facebook with someone who said davis is great and i was saying he has been playing bad and its not all kaep’s fault for his decline, as much as i hate kaep and think he sucks, i still thinked vernon davis’s play atrributed more to it than kaep, what do you think?
Kaepernick has two main problems, one is a slow release, that means he needs to get rid of the ball sooner in order to get it out at the same time as someone that releases it quicker. You see that a lot with him not getting as far through his progressions as he’s forced to get rid of the ball sooner. The other issue with Kaepernick is that he doesn’t trust his receiver to be where he’s supposed to be before he gets there, or to win man coverage. There’s a reason for both of those which come from a weak receiving core and constantly changing plays (Harbaugh had a system the size of Encyclopedia Brittanica) which removes the comfort element.
Neither of those issues reflected on Vernon. Your tight end is a guy you dump the ball on, Vernon had good hands and ran quick so he was better than most which is why he was such a star for a period of time. Vernon started focusing on stuff other than football last year which is pretty well documented and has been struggling with injuries this year. I think Vernon is more to blame than Kaepernick but he’s past that 30 mark now so you’re going to see a dip in performance. Even when Vernon has had opportunities he’s dropped a bunch of catches this year. I’m pretty sure he’ll hold onto Peyton’s slower throws though, he should be useful for the Broncos, he’s not the guy he used to be but he’s a better option than a lot of tight ends out there.
That was all thanks to the Panthers Corner Back shutting him down. They’ve shut down top WRs all season long. He had a few deep balls broken up that could have been big plays. Panthers were just that good.

Must be a Texans fan.
New England bro. Fuck the Colts organization, lmao.
I guess they almost made a comeback, I stopped after half time.
I stopped watching that game after first half. With how rough the Skins usually are, being down 24 to 0 should have been peace out I heard like 5,000 people left the stands at that point.
Then of course Redskins always do some miracle ass shit and win the game any ways LOL. It would be nice if we could have miracles on top of good play.
We’re either going to get trounced by the Patriots or miraculously almost win, but lose any way.

Well the same thing happened in 2011 when we last played them. They were favored heavily and some thought they would run all over us in like a 45-17 victory for them but the final score 34-27 for New England. Let’s just hope the Skins keep in competitive.

We’ll trade Chip to Tennessee for a Second Rounder.
I’m picking the Redskins as my upset pick this week.
The last person who should be running his mouth about a now ex-head coach is running his mouth about a now ex-head coach.

Now that’s a surprise. I figured Wisenhunt would last until the end of the season lol.
