Andy x Erin is compelling because Ed Helms is great at what he does and Ellie Kemper is a believable airhead. Glad they’re going in this direction, seeing how useless Jim x Pam is now. Were they drinking alcohol in a car? That’s illegal, at least in California. Anyway, there were even some funny moments, too. Steve Carell still seems to be phoning it in, though…=\
I knew I recognized Dwight’s assistant.

BBC News - Ricky Gervais to make cameo in US version of The Office
I wondering if he is taking over from Steve Carell??
I don’t think he will be taking over for Michael. This feels more like a way to grab the last few rating points this show has left in it.
I don’t know if it’s been posted here, but there’s at least 1 more season. Kind of bummed about that actually. Thought this season would be it. Go out shortly after Micheal does.
I liked the last episode a lot. Very un-Michael-like, but that didn’t matter. I shed a man tear.
i heard the one thats taking over for Steve Carell is Will Ferrel.
that is what one of the actors from The Office said last night on Letterman.
lastly,
british THE OFFICE> usa THE OFFICE
watch the british version.
its 1000x better. and hollywood’s version is great, so just imagine.
oh wow, there is a british version? didnt know that. guess i will check it out!!!
tad salty today, aren’t you.
finally watched Carrel’s last episode, man i was tearing up hard when he was saying good bye to Jim.
shit wasn’t even a comedy anymore. just great actin.
won’t be the same without him. But could be just as good. I love farrell and I think he’s the only one who could replace Steve. Unless we get Ricky, but that aint gonna happen
So is the office like really done after micheal leaves?
Or is it still up in the air?
Will Farrell is taking command.
And I am not feeling his character one bit. I know they didn’t want to make another Michael Scott, but this character seems like a huge prick that you just wanna punch. Maybe because I dislike Farrell, but I dunno.
the last episode was like oh yea he’s leaving so lets throw something together
I agree that the show won’t be the same without Steve, but I think that a few of the potential replacements look promising. I’d personally like to see Gervais get the spot, but I’m certainly willing to give Carrey a shot.
I think this will be healthy for the show.
Ending would be healthy for this show. It hasn’t been funny for a few seasons. I love season 1-3 of the Office and really like S4, but after that, shit really went down hill fast. I didn’t feel the last ep for Michael. I had high hopes as it was written by Daniels and directed by Feig, but it was as mediocre as everything else they put out anymore.
Will Ferrell is gone next episode, then it’s a fight to see who becomes the new boss.
BTW, Parks is the new Office. It has the freshness and the laughs that Office used to carry.
well good thing The office isn’t written by fans. everyones got different opinions on the state of the show as it is now.
@angryliberal. I love some Parks n Rec. ppl need to stop sleepin on that show
Parks is awesome.
Rashida>>>>>jenna
the last episode felt too melodramatic. I wanted the michael scott who did not grow as a person. His “joke” was to leave so he does not get a real last day
i want michael to get a visit episode as the finale like david brent got.
Is will ferrel’s character black? He has a black guy name and shows signs of being abandoned by his father. We also know he has 4 kids, beat obesity, has confidence issues, and is kind of a prick.
I hope he injects that ric flair character he used in eastbound and down into this.
Was anyone else kind of disappointed with Ricky Gervais’ and Jim Carrey’s cameo appearances in the finale? I was really hoping for a lot more than what they got.
I thought it was already confirmed Catherine Tate would be the next boss. She was the English red head they interviewed
Creed is so funny
After I thought about it, I really didn’t expect either to take over for Michael, I just wished that they would’ve had more than two minutes each in the episode.
And you’re right, Creed is awesome. He’s been my favorite character for a few seasons now.
