Dwight is my hero!
Yeah, Recyclops was great. I wonder though, when they flashbacked through the evolution of the Recyclops costume and they showed like Jim with his mushed down hair again and Ryan being the receptionist etc⌠were those filmed back then? Or did they just dress like how they used to look for those shots?
Damn, Dwight. That was insane.

[details=Spoiler]My Diabolical Plan
by Dwight K. Schrute
also, fucking temp getting in on the diabolicalness[/details]
Dwight ftmfw. He only fell short because of things beyond his control. Otherwise, everything was executed perfectly. Impersonations were spot on too lol.
It was a great episode and lastnightâs attempt by Dwight and his whole âallianceâ with Ryan furthers my gut feeling that Jim will either get demoted or fired. Dwightâs impersonations were hilarious and spot-on.
Dwights impressions = win
Direction the show is going in = fail
Maybe Iâm alone on this, but I really am disappointed by this seasonâŚ
Not enough office antics?
Itâs not that, itâs the âseriousâ tone of everything. When Jim was pulling pranks on Dwight, it was with the intention of fucking with him. Dwight is pulling shit with the sole intention of getting Jim fired. Itâs vindictive and takes away from the once light hearted nature of the show. On top of that, you have the impending failure of Dunder Mifflin thatâs holding a heavy hand over the show. Same thing with the âScottâs Totsâ story arc last night. Itâs like the show has taken an overall darker tone.
But thatâs Dwight. He tries so hard to ruin Jim and other co-workers, but he fails and itâs hilarious.
p.s. The Michael/Andy exchange at the beginning was pretty funny.
I dunno, it seems much more vindictive now. The whole thing wasnât funny with the sole exception of Dwight doing impressions, which was very funny. The plot, however, wasnât as funny.
I always hoped the show would end with Pam and Jim getting together⌠and not limp on for a few more seasons. I agree, the plot lines are just not that great anymore, but at least the episode still has its funny moments.
The show openings have been consistently good but the episodes have been a dip in quality from what it used to be. If the show had ended with the wedding it might have been better.
The wedding ep definitely felt more like a season finale.
Episode was funny, and I am liking this season, but itâs just not as good as last season. Mainly because last season was awesome.
Also agree with the tone being all dark and angsty. Itâs like dark night returns got mixed into my office.
When Michael whipped out those laptop batteries, I was DONE! that and Dwightâs impressionsâŚbest episode of the season for me so farâŚwhich has been pretty lackluster overall.
I totally agree. I said the same thing to my sister after the episode ended. The darker and more serious direction is not something I would like this show to venture into. Its not what made this show so appealing in the first place.
I like the occasional serious moments. Like when Michael told Pam that he loved her artwork and she hugged him way back in season 2 I think. And even that, was in a positive light. Lately its been mostly grim.
I guess theyâre trying to make things realistic with how things can be, but it hasnât done the show well thus far.
I wish theyâd bring back Holly. Her and Michael were hilarious together.
i said a couple pages back after like the second or so episode that this shit was too serious this season, and it is. its uncomfortable humor. i might be done with this show. i might stick around only to see the diabolical plan fail, but shits kinda weak.
