The Office (US)

Hands down, the best scene is “Happy Birthday Stanly!” Kicks cake into Michael.

Kelly making out right in front of Ryan was golden.

The other scene I liked that no one mentioned is everyone describing how beautiful kelly is then you here her whisper “What else do you like about me?”

Michael then hugging her right in her breasts.

I also love the scene where Michael audibly groans after overhearing Holly’s date the night before. The scene after that with Michael lashing out at Jim was hilarious too. Michael was right about that one with Jim telling him to take things slow, although Michael blew his chance at the end (again).

They don’t have to drag the Jim/Pam thing anymore because now they have Michael/Holly to deal with.

Fat guy from Madmen is in the credits for a few episodes this season so I guess we haven’t seen the last of him yet.

That was one of my fav parts of the episode, the awkwardness of it all was just too much

of course, everyone thought michael thought he was buying those tickets off holly to ask her to go. but of course, not only does he rip it up (and you can tell holly was expecting to be asked out), but then he tells her he will pay her back later when he gets money

Finally watching it on Hulu. So far so good.

Actually, I thought he was going to ask Jan to go. I don’t know which was the better scenario.

my memory is a little fuzzy, but i dont recall seeing meredith at all in the first episode… was she there?

a subpar episode overall imo… not nearly as funny as previous season’s first episodes. dwight was carrying the show as usual, but even he seemed out of character this time around.

No new episode tomorrow :frowning:

Meredith was there, but it looked like she was in some kind of accident or something. Her face was all blotchy and red, and she had small bandaids everywhere, which is probably why she didn’t get screentime.

There was also one part of the episode where her face looked all shiny like there was a plastic cover over it. During one of the weigh ins. I thought maybe I missed something before the intro, but I guess they just never said anything?

So no new Office tonight? :frowning:

EDIT:
Found out what happened to Meredith. Check out the deleted scenes on www.nbc.com/The_office

“These guys took me out on a fishing boat… thinking I don’t think I caught anything”

Also, Oscar’s funny. “I have straight abs. I want gay abs”[/details]

:amazed:…

lol

Comedies are usually better in 30 min formats, dramas and such are better hour long.

That was awesome.

Also, the first time we saw Dwight with Angela:

“MONKEEEEEEY” Then looking at the camera like “sup?”

So there was no episode this past Thursday? I’m assuming the debate took over all the channels? If so, i’m kinda pissed off. I’d MUCH rather watch Michael Scott act stupid than that mentally-challenged whore Sarah Palin.

No episode this past week, they will resume their normal schedule this week though.

“Business Ethics” October 9
"Baby Shower" October 16
"Crime Aid" October 23
"Employee Transfer" October 30

pretty weak episode this wk.

It was alright…

amen, just keep the ribs comin! ::high fives::

Oh my god. I just watched the fall premiere last night. Episode was EPIC. Can’t even begin to talk about all the great scenes.

Ryan probably had a good lawyer so he wasn’t put in jail for years. Obviously he has to do community service. Also, since he has a criminal record, the best job he can get is a receptionist because Michael loves Ryan enough to ignore the criminal history.

Hehe. “I just like to dive in there and get my hands dirty” - Michael on relationships

As for hilarious scenes, how about when everybody found out Pam’s weight after she got off the scale. Awkward.

Michael trying to copy Jim and give Pam a kiss goodbye when she was leaving in her car to art college.

“Fight the power” Stanley.

Computer-screen-Pam being interviewed in the office. That was kind of freaky.

Flies in the vending machine. Bug spraying the food so nobody takes it home and gets fat.

There’s just so much. I can’t believe the lukewarm response to this epic fall premiere.
