lmao Mr A Knife
This ep didn’t impress me at all. It dragged, there was very little humour, and no character development either. There were a couple of funny moments, but meh.
i thought it was hilarious. the only reason, creed with the “i want pie” part. my friends and i… we have a thing with pie. long story.
anyways, that part had us rolling.
Probably the weakest episode of the season so far but the Mr. A Knife gag had me rolling.
Poor Jim gets owned for the second episode in a row…
Looks like this is the last episode for a while now due to writer’s strike.
yeah, i found myself less than impressed with this episode. i kept waiting for something good to happen and it was all meh.
there’s supposedly another episode next week
Michael finds himself between a rock and a hard place when Jan sues Dunder-Mifflin and Michael is deposed as a witness. Meanwhile, Kelly trash-talks Pam after Darryl beats Jim at ping pong.
then its on hiatus
I really liked the episode. It wasn’t the best, but I thought the part where Creed says, “tell her it’s for Creed, she’ll know what that means…” and when Creed’s like, “we’re not talking about anything! Let’s go, gang!” and everyone just sat there.
I thought the whole Jim-Michael interaction was pretty interesting. . .we’re seeing glimpses of how similar the two are. They’re both extremely dependent on humor, and they’re both at times insensitive. Plus, Michael may not be as bad a boss as we’ve been led to believe. Interesting reversal of roles.
But otherwise, this episode was pretty bland. The only good thing was the “Mr. A Knife” gag. Who the hell puts a dartblower in the toilet chamber and actually uses it?
Yeah, Mr. A. Knife, “Let’s go Gang!”, The various uses of Michaels pants, and “Camping should be by yourself…and one more person if you’re free…?” were the only funny parts.
yeah i liked this episode. he showed signs of macguyver with what he did with the pants HAHAHa.
i liked when dwight had that sniper rifle and he said the safety is on lol
“Jan has plastic boobs”
A very meh episode especially compared to the one before it.
But still some decent parts.
Actually, yeah, my bad. There is one more new episode next week. Doh.
And even though this episode wasn’t the greatest, I think we were due to have one to be disappointed in. We’ve been getting spoiled with a few really good episodes lately, its about time we got one that wasn’t the best.
I’ve enjoyed this season so far, although I don’t think anything will ever beat season 2 as a whole from here on out.
This weeks EP felt like a filler episode… nothing really happened.
Creed is still the man though.
I forgot about one of the other funny moments in that episode. When Dwight just randomly took off his shoe and tried to knock Michael unconscious when he had the blindfold on.
If at all possible, can someone make me an avatar of Jim’s facial expression after the “Phallis…I’ve got penis on the brain” Dwight incident? from late season 3? I think its episode 22. If not, no big deal or anything.
Everyone at “The Office” has been laid off
[Quote=LA Times]
"Our show was shut down and we were all laid off this week. I’ve been watching the news since the WGA strike was announced and I have yet to see any coverage dedicated to the effect that this strike will have on the below the line employees.
"I respect the WGA's position. They probably do deserve a larger percentage of profit participation, but a lengthy strike will affect more than just the writers and studios. On my show we had 14 writers. There were also 2 cameramen, 2 camera assistants, 4 hair stylists, 4 makeup artists, 7 wardrobe people, 4 grips, 4 electricians, 2 craft service, 4 props people, 6 construction, 1 medic, 3 art department, 5 set dressers, 3 sound men, 3 stand-ins, 2 set PAs, 4 assistant directors, 1 DGA trainee, 1 unit manager, 6 production office personnel, 3 casting people, 4 writers assistants, 1 script supervisor, 2 editors, 2 editors assistants, 3 post production personnel, 1 facilities manager, 8 drivers, 2 location managers, 3 accountants, 4 caterers and a producer who's not a writer. All 102 of us are now out of work.
"I have been in the motion picture business for 33 years and have survived three major strikes. None of which have been by any of the below the line unions. During the 1988 WGA strike many of my friends lost their homes, cars and even spouses. Many actors are publicly backing the writers, some have even said that they would find a way to help pay bills for the striking writers. When the networks run out of new shows and they air repeats the writers will be paid residuals. The lowest paid writer in television makes roughly twice the salary than the below the line crewmember makes. Everyone should be paid their fair share, but does it have to be at the expense of the other 90% of the crewmembers. Nobody ever recoups from a strike, lost wages are just that, lost.
"We all know that the strike will be resolved. Eventually both sides will return to the bargaining table and make a deal. The only uncertainty is how many of our houses, livelihoods, college educations and retirement funds will pay for it."

“Your mom is fat she ate the internet”
Dwight is the Ping Pong masta.
lolz.
I like how they make Michael such a dumbass screwup, yet so emotionally vulnerable.
Kelly/Pam is hilarious.
STOP WATCHING THE SHOW MIKE IT JUMPED THE SHARK ALREADY REMEMBER?!
It did, the only times I’ve laughed have been when Dwight was on the screen and they showed the notes. Hot dog ftw.
Everything else has been a droll wait until scrubs comes on.
They need to close this episode with a hilarious jim/dwight/daryl/kelly/pam ping pong scene.
I mean it just has to happen.
