I normally let a few follow through if I’m actively trying to build meter + zone.

Juri Kara Throw
Looks like juri has a kara throw from s.MP, but it only covers about half the distance as ken’s (using the training stage floor for measurements.).
But its far enough to grab after c.lk x2.

I think she is better than most ppl are crediting for. Once we get a better feel for matchups and fireballs usage I think she will be a threat… I mean Capcom wouldn’t make a completely useless charremembers Dan … fck

Very true. But what alot of people are failing to realize is that she has one of the best pressure-releasing methods in the game. Juri is capable of removiing all pressure solely from her counter move. Any guessing games/mixups/wake-up guess are removed simply by counter-dashing away. Her potentiail is endless

Even with the charged fuhajin it seems unable to connect! i must be doing something wrong somewhere…
Charge it is just a matter of holding the button, do the movement, and release the button, right? There is no specific charge time needed?
Her trials are kind of dissapointing. They’re pretty cool, but they weren’t that difficult. None the less, I’m super excited about all of her possibilities.
In the Juri v. Cody, can the move at 1:23 be fadc’d to ultra?
Outside of her fireball keep away game, she has some real solid AA normals (cr.mp, cr.hp) to keep people from jumping in on her (and they can both be canceled, so it’s a free fireball store on hit). And good use of fireball store/release can also be used as pressure from mid screen.
Edit: I also think people are to quick to judge Juri. I still believe as time goes on, Juri will only get better even though it seems that she’s lacking in the fundamentals (but then again, look at Viper). Remember, it’s barely been a week. Lets withhold judgment until we really know what’s good.

Its pretty tricky, but there’s this trick where you can press back twice, if you do it fast enough you become godlike… I think some call it a backdash.
Why are you guys making these useless ass threads that dont need their own. WHy dont you guys use the Fucking Juri Thread where people are that can help with the problem and discuss this stuff? Makes no sense to make a WHOLE new thread
