Does anyone remember the other affiliated accounts (if any at this time) that Sam and Larry had in addition to Wizzards Arcade? I heard that they had another arcade in some theatre on many occasions, plus more popular games were moved to those establishments once Wizzards closed its doors. I may need to talk to them in the future about something.

ROBO: Are you playing the missions? That’s how you start to unlock characters for real. Don’t worry, I couldn’t do them either, I got biz’s data. I’ve only got two characters left to unlock now, I’m sure he’ll get there before me, and his data will be yours the next time you see him.

I told biz I’d forsee this problem coming up to those of you who hadn’t seen the anime/read the manga, because you have to win the missions by playing them how they went in the anime. It’s a super bitch.

Don’t give up on N3 yet, I was kinda pissed that you have to go through all that shit first too, but then biz gave me his data and the game is fun again. LOL

SOB…I’ve spent over 18 grand on Naruto 3, trying to buy characters and haven’t got sh*t. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: My take on Naruto 3 after a few days of play. Grade = C+

I don’t like this game as much as N2. Why? They took glaring problems from N2 and…made them BIGGER. This game has too many of what I call: “Parlor Tricks”.

Take Kakashi for instance. He has these slick looking moves that make him dissapear and re-appear with an attack on the end. The problem with this move is its too easy to do and has very little to do with skill. All one need do is pick him and do the move over and over. While it looks impressive on screen, its has little to do with finese and fighting. Several characters now appear to have this ability. These parlor trick moves now make the genuine fighters on the game, useless. This could’ve been fixed in my opinion. For example, Rock Lee had that shadow mode sh*t he could go into, which made him appear to be over-powered, but the makers of the game sorta fixed it by giving it a down side…your energy level drains down and you can be killed with one hit. This is what they should’ve done with some of these other BS moves.

Also, they’ve added guard break to the game…its also useless unless you can guardbreak , with one move. For example, I try to break ones guard with combos. Unfortunately, as soon as you guardbreak…9 times out of ten they’ve recovered and the next supposedly “free” hit is blocked again. Unless I misunderstand the concept of breaking ones guard, this appears to be BS…useless. I’ve also noticed some issues reguarding hit boxes and grab priority that I had not noticed before in the previous version of Naruto. And whoever thought up the system for buying and saving new characters to the game should be SHOT. It is infuriating. My old memory card info of N2 allowed me to start the game with 20k already in my pocket to buy new characters. So I go into the shop, bought all the blue icons I saw, spent the wad…and what did I get? Not a dam thing. I tried to re-insert the card to reload my money…surprise !!! Nothing. So I put the game setting on auto-save, and turned the unit off, I mean…I could’nt leave it on all night, right? Got up the next day to play and not only did the info not save, it was as if I had put the card in for the 1st time…8 lousy characters to play with, nothing new.

If I had any hair, I’d pull it out.

However, in the games defense, I did like some of the new characters. You can tell a lot of thought and creativity went into creating the 3rd installment. I enjoyed the addition of a second super and the new music/backrounds. But I have a feeling this game is going to collect alot of dust around my house unless FNG crew is over here.

So this version of Naruto 3 plays like DragonBall Z Legends back in the day on Saturn where you have to do what was done int h anime to get a better grade. That game was fun as hell. i wouldn’t trade it for noting. WARNING!!! METAL GEAR 3: SNAKE EATER…GREAT GAME!

To unlock characters in Naruto 3 you have to carry out the missions as they were carried out in the manga/anime. There are also 3 levels of each mission and each level gets more exact.

Example:

Naruto vs. Orochimaru:
Genin (1st) Level: Beat him with a 2 hit combo and then Rasengan
Chuunin (2nd): Beat him with a 4 hit combo then Rasengan
Jounin (Hardest): Beat him with a 6 hit combo and then Rasengan

Hard as shit I never played Legends but I hear it was sweet, does this sound like what it was?

Unlocked Shin Akuma and Pyron in the game. Also unlocked the classic theme music

Shin Akuma is the CVS2 one but with parries,roll, chain combos, and super cancel abilites. But he can be destroy rather easy (one Shin Shoryuken can kill him instantly).

Ok finally( no pun intended) done with FFX-2 so I need to get into a new RPG. Biz I heard good things about Star Ocean is it worth getting. Since Suikoden4, KH2 (can’t wait for that one), and FF 12 won’t come out til next year.

hey obot 64 as far as i know there is a universal mall it’s in roseville i believe but im not too sure on this you might wanna verify this with some one but im pretty positive there is such a place

No problem; who can fathom the mind of a diety? Apparently me, as I whomped his 2-man clique with several characters, 24-8.
His love of feet got him a 10 win streak in Garou though; Terry doesn’t have a teleport punch.
