No worries. I know I’m literally the only person on this forum who gives a fuck about amiibo as a whole. But, I know people like cool memorabilia of their favorite characters from various IP’s so I always try to share when they come up. Whether it be amiibo or not.

I freaking love amiibo. I was stoked when I got my GameStop’s last Daisy and I love the Ice Climber amiibo so much that I bought a second one off Amazon the same week the first one came in.
@Million-X Great Auto Heal helped me get through the final battle in Ultimate. Also if you wanna make Akuma even more busted, teach him in the Demon Style.

yeah if I start this final battle over (probably will have to at this point; you’re locked in your character backup choices until you start over, I think; somehow I got stuck with Marth and Megaman…Marth is one of my favorites but it’s been a long time since I played him, and I’m not even slightly familiar with Megaman’s style anymore, so it just feels like I’m playing as him for the first time) I will likely pick Celebi for Great Auto-Heal as a support spirit…it’s definitely one of the best ones.
*I still regret not getting Mewtwo amiibo when it was in stores… I will most likely have to resort to ordering it from somewhere online…something I’d always rather avoid. I’m old-fashioned in that I prefer to buy things I want from an actual store in person.

The ice climbers sculpt is legit probably my favorite sculpt. Just as a technical and progressive standpoint. It’s so clean looking, the pose great. The sculpt is just really well done.
Like…the first few “waves” of amiibo were dodgey weird faceworks and not a lot of detail and not that great of quality. You could also usually see all the mold lines where they assembled them. It was really gross.
With each wave though the sculpts got better and better. I’d say from BotW amiibo up until now has probably the best run of amiibo, quality wise. Like, the detail out into some of them like Ridley and K. Rool is insane.
The Skylander Amiibo are literally the worst though because activision was in charge of making them and it fucking shows.

ha, just on the 2nd attempt after changing my support to Celebi’s Greater Healing I finished it… that last battle is some epic shit, man. The main man Ganondorf did most of the heavy-hitting work but eventually got knocked out, then Marth was up and lasted a decent time against them… and finally I was able to finish off what was left with Megaman. The final tally was 33 hours of this greatness.

Speaking of amiibo I need to catch up on my cataloging of them. I haven’t talent a picture of any of them since I think the praise the sun dude came out. Which was like…October of last year and there’s been a bunch of releases since then.

Ah Solair is on my hit list as well.
Yeah. He’s kind of a toughie to get. He was GameStop exclusive. His prices hover around $40-$50 depending on where you go.
I felt super bad for New Zealand and Australia. It was an eBay exclusive and limited to 5,000 pieces. And not for each country. Combined.

All of a sudden, my mind is dripping with ideas for Super Mario Maker 2. I’ve got my graph paper out, doodling segments that I could put into levels. Just doodling whatever springs to my mind. I even broke out the Idea Book that came with the original Super Mario Maker and have put my own spin on some of the concepts in it. I don’t know if I can crank my ideas to paper quick enough because in the words of Luke Skywalker “THEY’RE COMING IN TOO FAST!”
I know that Nintendo showed us a ton of stuff on the 5-15-2019 Super Mario Maker 2 Direct. But at the same time, you just know there is a TON of stuff they haven’t shown us. Self discovery is gonna be sooooo much fun with this game. With the original Super Mario Maker, how much stuff did people find out they could do on their own when making levels? Or you saw a video on YouTube and were like “You can do that in this game?” I want to know if Boss Bass can swallow you up in one gulp like he could in Super Mario Bros. 3. When I saw the raising and lowering water mechanics, I instantly got the idea to make a level with Boss Bass as the main threat. And if he can instant kill you, that would be so delicious!

hmm…so of course there’s an auto-censor…I was just trying to name a new mii “Smegma” but it won’t allow that. I tried to make his face look like a penis at first but now it just looks like whatever… I went with the name “Adult Toy”…he’s added to the roster for Smash Ultimate now. (Gunner type; wearing the chibi-robo suit of course…he’s an adult “toy”)
I tried once again to make Tyson but the mii options are just so painfully limited. …at least the creepy internet meme character “Momo” is easy enough to make…I’ve also made “Torgo” from that movie Manos: The Hands of Fate …also made another gunner with the name BootyBallz… this is too much fun.
…and now I’ve made Prince and put him in the game too…purple outfit of course.

Potentially, right now it has three factions at a school and your character chooses to teach one, which each have different sets of characters. It is actually more Persona then the actual SMT/Persona crossover with FE, Tokyo Mirage Sessions, in that you have your students study different things plus socialize at times for class changes and skills. Plus there is a calendar system for all of this stuff, so down the road there maybe, most likely for a small amount of time before a greater evil arises, a war between the Houses.
