Look through the downloadable-only titles. I recommend Implosion.
The Neo Geo Library has a good start and the Psikyo arcade titles Gunbarich and Strikers 1945 are getting Switch Ports.
Breath of the Wild is superior on the Switch (unlike Twilight Princess on the Wii, it was better on the Game Cube).
Going back and forth on rather to get 2k18 for PS4 or switch.
Would love a mobile version of the game but I know the PS4 will be superior. Will wait till closer to release to see how bad corners were cut to make the switch version possible before I decide.

Yes, the New 2DS XL will be able to play everything on the system.
In case you didn’t know, right now 2k18 is going to get released digitally first on the Switch with the other platforms and then later physically at an unknown date. So if you don’t want to have it digitally you can buy the PS4 version first and then while waiting for the physical you’ll have plenty of time to hear anything about issues with the Switch version.
ha, I forgot about having Helldivers until it was mentioned… I have it on Vita. The short bit of content I played was alright, but other games kept stealing my attention, basically…so I never got back to it to dig deep in there… it made a good first impression on me, for sure.
*y’know… it’s probably unlikely to happen, but it would be awesome if Dragon’s Crown showed up on Switch…YEP I would absolutely buy it again, and I played the shit out of it on Vita for years. It is my favorite side-scrolling game of all time, without question.

The game is much more fun playing with 4 people than it is by yourself or with randoms. It’s a twinstick shooter. The game also scales the number of enemies you have to face depending on the amount of people playing. You could go from “slightly hectic, really difficult (on the hardest difficulty)” playing by yourself to “HOLY FUCKING SHIT WHY ARE THERE SO MANY ENEMIES!? WATCH WHERE YOUR"E FUCKING SHOOTING! TELL ME SOMEONE EQUIPPED THE FLAMETHROWER FOR THIS MISSION!? REVIVE ME YOU ASSHOLES REVIVE! RUN YOU DUMBASS YOU CANT KILL IT WITH JUST ONE PERSON WHILE GETTING SWARMED! HOLY FUCK YOU GUYS SUCK” when there’s 3 other people with you for your 4 man mission on hardest difficulty.
Great fun was had playing with my bros because it also supported couch co-op of up to 4 players (all the players share 1 screen regardless so if you want to go anywhere you all have to move as a group to get to the objective(s)).
2DS XL is everything the New 3DS XL has minus that one 3D screen.
Most of us turns the 3D off anyways, so there is no lost.

Not quite. Just no netplay or practice modes. After dicking around a bit instead of just jumping into gameplay, I find that there are option modes in these games. By hitting plus or minus, you open a menu. Let’s use kof98 as an example. The menu has, in this order
Create Interrupt Save Data
Display Settings
Game Settings (timer, difficulty, blood, etc)
Button Settings (thank god, they can’t all perfect be by default like kof98 and samsho4)
Manual
Online Ranking
Restore All To Default
Game Reset
Back To Title
Return To Game
I wonder if it’s possible for SNK to quietly switch these aca mvs versions out with neogeo console ports on the sly (with practice mode, of course. I don’t expect miracles like netplay), and have people upgrade via a mandatory title update.

The MVS is superior. But I digress.
AES just happens to have a user menu driven difficulty options and a set limited number of continues.
MVS you have to go into the board menu via service buttons or use the Dip switches and your continues are limited do how many quarters you have.
Most of the Neo Geo games are identical between their AES and MVS versions, it’s just the bios on the system that is forces the differences.
Now the Switch ports of Neo geo games are much, much, much so very much better than earlier PC/Steam Ports which are lazily done using the Rom and a lazy clone of Mame.
Still waiting to cop the Switch, tbh I could’ve got it last week because my gamestop had some in stock. But right now I feel I got enough on my plate to keep me entertained without having to invest in another console.
If I can clear off some backlog. I def wanna get it holiday or early 2018 for Xenoblade 2, Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Mario and Rabbids. I wanted FE Warriors as well but that roster is fuckin garbage and killed all my hype for it so idk.
