I’ve just been busy and didn’t really think the sales that were going on were a big deal. They’re nothing compared to e3 week, golden week, Black Friday week and new year new deals week sales.
Battles are more difficult. Only played two before I hit the hay last night. For the most part the maps in the main quest are “what you see is what you get.” In Cindered Shadows, reinforcements are used more frequently and can com different areas. I’ve been fortunate thus far but I’ve already learned to keep a heavy hitter next to any squishy units and to proceed slowly. I don’t have my OP new game plus crutch to save me.
I don’t know what it is about this system, but my urge to buy games I’ve already bought on other platforms just so I have them all in the same place is a lot bigger with the Switch. I think other than Mario Kart, Smash Ult, and Tetris99, all the games I own are games I have on other platforms.

I’ve been grinding MH gen ult with some friends and still tons of fun. Love the arts and styles.

Got my first Limited Run Games purchase.
Was $20 at Best Buy and no online hassle. Best part? My BB is right up the street from my house.

I wish I had more time to grind in this game but ya know…life and what not. I’m having fun playing what I can. Also glad this game has sold really well World being out on Xbone/PS4. Hopefully that should tell Capcom to not skimp out on this series for this system.
Couple of weekends ago, my grandson was over for a couple of days visit. He basically played on Switch the entire time he was here, and even played it in the car on the way home with his sister. They don’t know it yet, but they’re both getting Switch Lites for Christmas this year …

Just make sure to use that parental app, even if your kid never enforces the time restrictions just having it so the grand kids can’t access certain rated games and as a always visible on home screen threat is useful.

The only concern for getting him a Switch Lite is that if I get him one, I have to get her one; otherwise they’ll fight about using it all the time; in true sibling rivalry fashion. When I gave them my old PS4 for Christmas this past year; I sent like a crapton of stuff over to their parents about the parental controls for it. They might actually like the ability to monitor their time via their cell phones.
Strange. My parants made us share. If we fought over it then no one got to play with it.

Me and my bro gamed the system. One of us would ask one console and the other would ask for another. I had SNES, he had Genesis. We both had Gameboys but I had a Game Gear and he got Lynx. Only thing missed out on the we wanted was the Neo Geo. We used to want to go on Video Power so bad to run through the mall and snag as much stuff as possible.

Dope. My dad threw my SNES and Genesis in the trash when I was 12 because he thought they where a waste of time.
