Saw a few bullet points at what’s been altered in the West and why Nintendo is offering refunds, since it’s based on the Western release.

The first is an age bump for some of the characters - Tsubasa, Itsuki and Touma - taking them up from 17 to 18 years of age. There are also changes to costumes, with some of the female characters wearing less revealing clothing.

Also has an OST composed by Bullet Heaven that sounds wonderful.
Anyone curious about the pedigree it’s by Hucast who are a German group who got started making shmups for the defunct Dreamcast and a couple older systems. They’ve recently been porting their stuff to current gen. Ghost Blade is their try at making a Cave style shmup like Dodoonpachi and the like. It’s a decent time. I’ll probably scoop it because while I own it on Dreamcast performance there is…compromised to be polite about it.

Ghost Blade HD is tight. Played it on PS4 and wanted it to come to Switch. Now it is. Nearly every SHMUP I bought on the PS4 has arrived on the Switch. Now that the “test the waters” phase of the Switch is long over and the system prints money, publishers are knocking down Nintendo’s door to put their games on the thing.
I will be nabbing that physical edition of Ghost Blade HD as well as Dragon Quest 1+2+3 Collection. Yeah, I bought them digitally but I’ll double dip to support the series. Gotta get IV, V and VI on the Switch since the DS versions are going up in price.
Now if we could only get those Cave shooters and Final Fantasy I-VI on the Switch…

Looks tempting to buy and try. I could play smash again with those. Some games could be improved with them but otherwise still a novelty. Surprised Nintendo hasn’t done it themselves first.

There is hope for Cave shmups, M2 bringing Esp.Ra.De. to Switch Next month I believe it is.
Im hoping this is them figuring out the Switch so maybe we can get Battle Garegga and Dangun Feveron there as well as their future work.

I need to know how good the port is. I have the first Cyber Sloth on PS4 but never got around getting the second. I will rebuy if this version isn’t shit.
