Good to see Nintendo is going all out with the advertising… earlier tonight I was watching something on the ID network, and there was a Switch commercial on there. Of course it was showing up in the commercial breaks for the Toonami block on Cartoon Network…that makes more sense than ID in terms of demographics, but it’s interesting that they’re actually going all in when it comes to putting it out there. It’s also all over youtube at this point–they apparently let certain “youtubers” get it early so they could post the usual unboxing and other vids talking about it (free advertising)… strange thing is that in the one case I was looking at earlier, it’s someone I’ve never even heard of… I’m sure his subscriber #s will probably double or even triple by this point next week though.
Oh yeah and I was successful in getting Friday 3/03 off…oh yeah I had to gloat

Well it would charge my Galaxy S7 at least 7 times. So I figure at least 15 hours battery life portable nintendo switch. But I’m sure it’s a lot less if you go full power mode.
When I went into Gamestop to finish paying off my pre order they had a portable battery charger there that had a USB C charging cable for the switch. Don’t like it’s as powerful as that on but it was half the price.
I’ll update the thread with how long it last.

Yeah that game had me at hello. At least in my opinion…this game looks so good that it makes up for the fact that the rest of the launch lineup is rather forgettable.
I’m hoping they don’t forget my honey Samus… she needs to appear on this system soon as well.
I’m very interested in the Switch but I will not be getting one right away. I remember the last couple Nintendo systems I bought and they were pretty lame at launch. I’ll definitely be keeping my eye on this though and hope it turns out to be great.
I’ll be picking one up at Christmas because I just can’t afford one right now but at least it’ll have a few more games out when I get one. Hype as fuck for Zelda and Mario.
Mario Odyssey looks like a weird hybrid of SM64 and Galaxy. I’m super excited for it.

I didn’t pre-order because I was moving to a new city and there were financial unknowns, and way too much other shit going on at the time. I kinda regret it now that it’s releasing next week. I’ll have to wait. At least I have Horizon and Nier to keep me busy in the meantime.

Looks like MK8 deluxe is using HD rumble as well. I’m really interested in what the HD rumble is like for games since most previews that mention it make it sound legit.
