The Nina Williams Thread

I just hope they bring that cold and heartless personality to the table…Ono is already making her look like a flirty type…And that should have been ANNA’S SUPER ART POSE…But she’s looking hot as always!

Yeah, it is.

Nina seems better of as a second character, imo - since she can really benefit from a partner with an easier Super to connect to her’s.

I think her thrust move would help her with keeping pressure. I wonder if there is a way to keep that thrust move safe on block or using her skull crusher move to trick people.

I don’t play Tekken but I got to say Nina looks proper. I look forward to using her.

Any trace of her ‘Fluttering Butterfly’ move yet? I want to be able to juggle some guys to the corner with it. :badboy:

From the first match

Her crouching lp is a bit slow along with her crouching light kick but they seem to have a good amount of range.

Her crouching mk looks like a great poke and her standing normals all seem to have a decent amount of reach.

What kinda of character would help her keep a good pressure game? What do you guys think?

So far other tekken characters look like they have a better pressure game than nina but her poke game looks to be pretty good. Might pair her up with Yoshimitsu or Sagat

around 3 minutes in you see more of her normals being put to use

That video is actually a great find.

Her normals seems to do a good deal of damage, but her forward dash seems kind of slow. They should buff her walkspeed up by .02 or something to help her with pressure.

The front page has been updated with the picture of notations for nina and the other changes are that blond blonde is a charge-able move meaning that if you charge it to lvl 3, Nina will do her Super.

After nina does her crumple special thrust attack you can combo off of it.

I was watching the SF x tekken tournament and this is what i got from the nina gameplay.

-Her combos alone seem to do a lot of damage.
-Her normals are fairly good.
-Her Tag team super from when she starts it, is her Ultra from the very first build ending into her thrust move.
-Walkspeed is ok.
-Can combo from her special launcher twice and then switch.
-The move list will be moved down a thread a long with the video thread being moved down one as well.

See any decent Nina play on stream?

There was one but it only showed that she has good normals.

Well I’ve Finally got around to it and these are my personal Impressions on Nina~ so take them how you will.
I’ve got in a few rounds with nina~ he has decent normals i found some tekken strings work, and she has a good wave dash.
now here are the things that were weird for me.
before i start, i was never a good nina player(im just a fan~) but knowing what bound in t6 actually groundbounces in this game so ivory cutter is kinda good, same with her overhead chop move. umm her throw chain was hard to time. but i started to understand it after failing at it for a few rounds straight. her Super is kinda good, it hits low actually, but the lame thing is…it does like no damage…so combined with Poison you have team low damage output. but dont let this discourage you, im sure the super in itself can be comboed really easy. though i just got it in at random times or when i got cheap wins with CrossArts. anyways i just dont like moving around with her, and her normal all were weird and akward, the closest character that i can describe with weird normals like her is…well Makoto…if you catch my drift. its really hard to explain really you have to play her to understand what i mean. but in alot of ways shes like her T6 self, without the fan flapping wall carry combos…
