I too was fighting against my friend’s Juri and was having trouble coming up with a way to open her up between the combos. The only dependable move that has (full body) invulnerabilty is ex Blonde Bomb (frames 1-14).
I love ex blonde bomb. its + on block and if you are using it to respond to pressure it has the invincibility. Hitting someone gives you an easy 40% combo due to the crumple it causes. It really is your best tool for fighting off pressure. The thing that will differentiate good Nina players and bad ones will be people who master this. It just sucks that is costs meter. For this reason alone I take meter gems+ damage gems. She needs meter to respond to pressure and she needs to make those responses count since meter is finite.
OH and I guess she does have standing jab at 3 frames. So if you know a spot you can stick it out in between your opponents pressure you are set. But that will require knowledge of your opponent’s character.

Also, the guide says standing strong is +3 on block and standing jab is +1, which is too good to be true. Either way, it’s still good.
According to the guide, ex blond bomb has 28 startup, full invulnerability frames 2-5, and projectile invulnerability frames 6-27. Where are you getting 14 frames of invulnerability from?
Edit: you must be confusing it’s invulnerability with ex geyser kick’s since that has 14 frames full invulnerability.
Isn’t Nina’s ex rolling dash grab really good? You can cancel it from normal moves and it’s one of the few unblockable attacks in the game! If people are turtling too much it will at least scare them. While 200 dmg isn’t great it’s still good enough to scare people from just blocking the whole time.
Omg, Nina has really nice safe confirms. Her cr lk directly to st. hk is actually pretty safe when done from the end of the cr lk. Her hk pushes the foe back and for some reason she doesn’t seem to get a penalty to her frame disadvantage even though this is a boost combo! You can absue that like crazy to confirm into launchers for high damage!

How can Nina make opponents pay for jumping in? Using her mid-range buffer poke/poke/EX BB game, people wanna jump. I’ve been AAing with st.MK and cr.HP, but honestly it’s not amazing incentive to keep trying to jump. What can Nina do if she knows her opponent will jump, and it’s time for them to eat a big combo for it?
c.hp gives a counter hit so follow up with whatever you want
Anyone else finding that as people actually learn to play the game Nina gets worse and worse? c.hp is a fairly weak anti-air unless its a far jump in leaving the best options being to just command dash, early air-to-air or neut jump. No one falls for the s.mp counter-hit. Match-ups against characters that can apply good pressure like Rufus and Juri are horrid as are match ups where they have superior pokes like Chun-li and Julia.
