Certainly an interesting bunch of matches. I don’t know if this’ll do anything to revive the NGBC scene, though. To be honest, I still think this game is dead.
It’ll be dead until EVO…then it’ll have new life in it for a time being…then it’ll get more life come NEC9 & FRXII of course as the whole Triad stuff resumes yet again…

Wow, I saw two Shikis on the screen at once. Not bad Yasanagi, but you guys reallllly need to start GCFSing. You guys seem to conserve meter in general - don’t do that, you always have meter in this game.
Well, I’m still trying to get used to GCFSing more frequently on a pad. Before, I used to GCFS like crazy on my keyboard whenever I played my SVC ROM on my computer.

As to why the Japanese don’t use Big much, I have an educated guess.
I’m thinking that the people who still play this game over there are the ones who put in the most effort and genuinely enjoy it, and most of those people use lower-tier characters. Big was widely played by guys who didn’t spend much time with the game and just wanted easy wins (e.g. Mago, Tokido), and that group dropped the game after SBO.

Because I stopped playing Big just because I hate to even remotely think about playing him…he’s such a sell out…esp Big-Kim…so I stick to Tung-Athena…

Theres just other characters with more to offer than King Lion in the game…that take less work…he takes work to be effective…Josh had a pretty good one at MWC as you will see…

In the OG version of it…not in 94 Rebout though…but like 98UM 94 Rebout (ps2) comes with the OG version of 94…we can play that version too since I know the “broken shit” you speak of also lol.
I’m having problems doing the hyper mode combo with Kyo. Where you do QCF A then cancel to QCF C. Should I just let it go to a neutral state after I connect with 1 punch?
Let it go to neutral then do it because you may be buffering the motions,
