No fucking way is Lee S-Tier. If anyone deserves to make NGBC a ‘big four game,’ it’s Marco.
Lee should be B tier, for certain. I think Marco is more like an “A+”.
I like the A tier mostly, Mizuchi should go down though. And Hanzo at A, I dunno…does he actually beat any of the important characters?
A lot of the B and C tier guys seem interchangeable to me - they can all hang with at least a couple of the high tier, best as I can tell. I’d be tempted to just combine them into one giant mid-tier. Mars People, Mudman, and Asura should all be in that B/C level I think.
I’d drop Shermie and K’ to D class, and of course we could argue Yuki for F.

man…iunno bout match ups really. I mean I CAN do them, but like, I’d only do them for S-B tier since that’s all that’s really used. Maybe the random c-e tiers that he has extremely good/bad match ups with.
Only EXTREMELY BAD match up(s) I can think of right now for Yuki are Tung and Shaman.
Yuki has NO answers to their dive kicks except maybe an EXTREMELY well timed kara-iad. Other than that…he doesn’t stand a chance. I would say use his counter but it’s so fucking slow it wouldn’t matter.
We’ll see though.

The more and more I play Yuki is the more I see that he would have been a beast if SNK didn’t nerf the hell outta him. I mean do you see the guard damage he gets? And how much Sub Screw takes out on the guard guage?

and yeah, Yuki’s guard damage is crazy, iirc geese posted a guard crush string when he’s in his rage mode type move.

IMO, Shiki is WAYYYYY better than K’, who should be close to bottom. Mai is better than Tung. Terry is better than Fuuma, so is Karate. D tier…I think Mars should be higher. E and S are about right. Kisarah and Athena may be too high too ;p …Mudman is debatable. shrug.
Shiki combos:
Close D > one hit close C > dash stab.
Close D > two hit close C > DA. This does almost exactly the same damage as D > D, though, and the same rule applies for push out (if the first D hit too far out, it won’t combo into DA after the second D/C).
Crack shoot beats Big lariat. Stab goes under it, of course.
I’d say Shiki is like B Class at least now for sure…

Yuki vs. Mizuchi is a pretty horrible matchup for Yuki too…

Yeah I was searching some old forums and thats one of the tier list I found, and hey DG is u can work on a match up chart that would be awesome…it would be great reference material. Oh and why is Maroc so high up, I perosnally think a lot of folks are overatting him…I really do think Lee is better then him,
Lee is not better than Marco by any means. Have you mastered Marco?
Marco has more options in general…matches up better vs. Big…is easier to use…
Knife Loop is very good…his level one is one of the best in the game…can space very well…
I should probably learn some knife bnbs just so I can show them to my buddy who says that Marco’s knife mode sucks.
