Yea I love that move. It can combo to b.A, qcb.K from s.A, s.C, c.A, c.C. I haven’t tried flashkick after I land.
What do you guys think about Robert’s combos into fbf.K?
j.C, s.C, fbf.K
s.A, b.B, fbf.K
I’m trying to work it into my routine.

Was there anything posted up on Kyo?I looked through the links, but I might have overlooked it.
No PM SieClayton…I could post up stuff but he wants reigns on Kyo so I’m giving it to him…
:china:
Well if you don’t have the meter for the regular b&b or DA, then you do fbf k.
It’s a good ender because it’s a hard knockdown meaning they can’t tech roll from it. Setting up lot’s of wakeup stuff.
Look up SieClayton on YouTube, he has a Kyo bnb vid that’s very good for beginners.
Not sure if this has been mentioned but Best Buy has NGBC in-store for $9.99.
The game is located where they keep all their “bargain” games by the register lanes.
Yeah, I apologize if i I missed it in this thread or in one of the links from the first page, but what’s the general button layout people use for this/other SNK games? I have the typical 6 button stick.

Sweet, thanks. I just picked the game up yesterday. I watched it back at some tourney in NC last year, but never got around to picking up the game. I think I like it so far.
It’s weird that the “button layout” thread has the new snk games as

CD
I found out that EVERYONE goes by what Geese posted which makes reading stuff a lot easier.
More of a question for CajunStrike but its something thats always got me curious
What good are marco’s ‘summon’ supers? The ones where he calls out that dude with no shirt, long hair and shit. It seems like he just dances around for a while and then shoots randomly. It seems that how long he travels for and when he shoots is completely random and most of the time it never does anything. Any reason on why you use it?
it persists if you get hit, and forces your opponent to stop pressing/turtle since they don’t know when it will come out.
EDIT: this is rogueyoshi btw, hal was logged in…
He attacks random which is the best part about it…Its assist and as he says forces you to turtle or combined with the right attacks lose over half of your life…
I use that layout for my pad.

In other news.
How does one deal with Shermie if she’s in your face? My keepaway tactics sometimes fail me.
I’m starting to appreciate the other characters, I’ve been messing around w/ a lot of different ones and K’/Hanzo/Kaede/Haohmaru are all characters I really enjoy and have figured out a lot of stuff on my own w/o having to come here going “OMG SAID CHARACTER PRIMER PLZ KTHX!” so that’s kinda flattering to myself even though it’s probably all common knowledge and I also plan on reading the primers though.
I just love some of the links a lot of the characters have to offer
EX w/ Hanzo: st.ax’s 3 > cr.b xx kunai super
EX w/ K’: standing close c(one hit) > fr.a xx qcfx’s2+a or c
I DID read kaede’s primer and I always already doing all the combos and then some mentioned, only think I didn’t know was his commando throw xx d-assault.
Haohmaru doesn’t really have combos but his standing c is just too good to ignore.
any ways, I have a much better feel/love for this game now that I’ve played with the other(and lower) characters.
as for button lay out I use:
a c e
b d -
that is all.
because i play shermie i’ll tell you how steve harrison did it
patience and a good DP or sweep will usually do it
kyo’s chains and terry’s power dunk break help
frontstep and punish is the key, this is a game where you shouldnt worry about retaining meter 'cause if you play right you’ll always get it back
so if she ticks you and looks like she’s about to hcf+kick then frontstep and throw or frontstep into anything xx d-assault
also shermie has no real reliable antiair from what i can tell
i got a question concerning Tung’s Muscleman
i know to get the maximum amount of hits on an opponent facing you, you top P 3 tiems when the hit counter is at 11, then 3 times again at 19. But what if the oponent has their back turned on you? cause i know you can get way more with the oponents back turned to you.
This my friend is in the Primers as well…
I’ll say it again though nevertheless…because it has been asked MANY TIMES.
11,19,28…
wow…muscle man makes so much more sense now. I got 38+ hits every single time I tried it. runs back to training room
oh snap, my bad. ive read the primer before but i guess i missed that. sorry.
