been experimenting yesterday. I found a new team.
Team “Kar Wash” Not my best team but I’m starting to get a good feel for the two characters. Guess who they are…:arazz:

I’m thinking of dropping GGXX and playing NGBC at texas showdown. Awesome thread, dont know why i didn’t see this sooner.

Can some please post a list of all of Moriya’s Special/Super Moves and
combos/strategies???
The only combos that I know with him are:
1)-- Crouching B(LK)x3 xxQCBx2 Super(Multi-Cut Super)
Similiar to Ken’s Crouching Short(LK)x3 xxKick Super Art combo from SF3:THIRD STRIKE
2)-- Crouching B(LK)x3 xxQCF+A(LP)x3(Triple-Cut Special)
Any good strategies for Moriya???

You can do light attacks into 2 light rekka slashes (or three heavy in the corner, I think) into his level 2 super for decent damage. Make use of that parry as well.
Not much of an expert on him, so if anyone has some comments, please add.
Since NGBC top 8 wasnt recorded at Shodown…my Athena didnt get to be seen…

This is what I am having trouble with. Since the s.hk will make you a few step away farther, and the move hcf+K has to be done in close range. I have tried to use AC, but it didn’t really work as it is too far away to connect. Please help me out.
Is it me or is Wash really underrated as a fighter? I mean he is a charge character, but he has a counter and a mega high priority super…

As far as that combo wiht Kaede is concerned I havent had access to the game for a while so I am going to speculate-the person is probably using the escape (AB) after the close st. HK to get close or close enough to do the wicked command grab which IMO is CENTRAL to wreaking havoc with Kaede.

When Kyo pulls off the DA with Iori, when Iori jumps on the screen the split second he catches the opponent press AB, he will side step and you can then control both Kyo and Iori at the same time! Thank you… Hold your applause.
