I’m legit mad because it was going to be my deck choice for Nats, and now I have no earthly clue what I’ll play.
Join me, play DBZ. We get Broly in a couple of months.
Then again I play, or at least follow, damn near every card game so I can keep the pulse on what’s going right and wrong everywhere. Also believe we should probably have a thread for miscellaneous card games.
Only if you go first and only if they don’t play Goodwitch. While the latter is likely with everyone playing this herp derp Island variants, you do have the whole “having to win the coinflip” problem. And god forbid if you somehow whiff Ophion turn 1.
If you want to play a stun deck then go with Counter Fairies. Has the same issue though of being unable to break fields.
Also tell said PK Fire players to add Malacoda to their builds if they’re that worried about getting worked by Reaper. If they don’t get Reaper’d, still have their Dante plays. If they do, they have alternate bosses to go into that will be able to get those monsters out of their hands and into the grave with upside.
V-Jump day is always fun. More SD news, Starve Venom, a ridiculous card for any mirror match but the most subtle thing may lead to the greatest consequences, in Dark Magic Succession.
More importantly, the story behind the cards. The logical next step in the Dark Magician story. Dark Magician Girl succeeding Dark Magician and becoming the master mage. DMG Chaos Ritual incoming!
Ran a local event today and this one chick topped running deskbots with kurakuri. The dude she was played in the finals was so overwhelmed by her mega combos that I swear he was about to cry. I didn’t even know this deck combo was a thing.
Like I would play Tier 1 and put 3 in my sideboard. There is little incentive to run low tier decks because they can’t play this amazing card. It’s like Konami was like: We just banned chicken game and limited upstart. Maybe we should print an card that searches an opponent’s deck for a card a player needs instead and the opponent can choose to hang himself with either choice he picks. Oh and it helps decks that have highest amount of play.
