I believe that YGOPro is best for getting the hang on things with rulings and shit, but Dueling Network sucks ass without its automation. You also have to carry a tab or some shit open with the Yugioh Wiki page with all of the current rulings or else shit will get awfully nasty.
You mean like an actual game of YGO IRL? It’s just something that comes with the territory.
People get spoiled by automation and then completely forget how to play with the actual cards in front of them. As unfortunate as it is, you have to learn how to deal with Rule Sharking and vague rules on your own. YGOPro is fine for training wheels, but that’s it.
Anyway, I’m home now. If anyone is interested in a group Skype call, feel free to say so. If not, D’Nyce I can try to do my best with helping you just by posting.
If this card is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard by a card effect, draw 1 card. If this card is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard by your opponent’s card effect, draw 1 more card.

If this card is discarded to the Graveyard by a card effect: Draw 1 card, plus another card if this card was discarded from your hand to your Graveyard by an opponent’s card effect.
Just standardizing the way text is written so conditions, costs, and effects are more easily defined.
One important one is the change to Fusion Summoning cards like Power Bond. It makes it less ambiguous that you can use it even when Dimensional Fissure is active.
Even with Snow, Gates and Grapha they still get in their own way too often. Not to mention any time they even achieve a modicum of success people start siding for them again. And Dark Worlds get eviscerated by the side deck.
You can win an event or two, but not many consistently.
For example, Dark Worlds got second at my local’s OTS last weekend. The reason he lost? Game 2 he drew 3 Malefic Stardusts first hand with no Gates in sight. Game 3? He drew his Discard Outlets with no Dark Worlds.
