lol, rat to 1, u might as well have just banned it, you cant do anything with one rat. he cant even get his xyz effect used, he is unplayable. i can understand banning drident and barrage, drident was just hands down the best monster in the game, but after that point, kind of not needed to limit rat. the limit rat part was overkill.
Banning slumber is dumb when there are plenty of counters available to slumber.
Plus it kills kaiju as a deck when kaiju only really did anything in OCG with zoodiac.
Rat to 2 is enough to kill the free drident plus rank 4 play.
RAT to 1 is just unplayable.
I donāt even play zoo but I donāt like when stuff becomes straight unplayable.
It should be unplayable the archtype is yugioh cancer incarnate. And realistically itās not like theyāll get hit that hard in TCG anyway.

Majespecter Unicorn - Kirin - Finally, about time. Thing has been begging for a ban since release and while it hasnāt been that impactful lately, I doubt anyone is sad to see it gone.
The Tyrant Neptune - Following the OCG. The best card to hit if you think the combo is a problem. Nice to see theyāve learned how to ban the right card in a dumb combo (now bring Divine Wind back and ban the other jerkface of that combo).
Vanityās Emptiness - Hmmā¦Iām 50/50 on this one. Vanityās was immensely stupid, but at the same time I didnāt mind it TOO much at one due to the abundance of S/T hate we have available to us. Still not sad to see it go though.
Maxx āCā - Hmmā¦I donāt see why you limit this now of all times. But considering that Ash Blossom is coming out relatively soonish, I guess they wanted to get players to focus on picking that up (goodbye wallet).
Rescue Cat - Errataād so comes off. Weāll see if it takes off in anything.
Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier - Same deal here. Interesting to see if this card gets any play. Main place would be in Dark Synchro variants.
Brain Control - Another errata, only this time the card is pretty bad, itāll grab pretty much nothing most of the time.
Future Fusion - Another errata, and while I donāt think the card is bad, itās not great. That one turn wait is pretty brutal and the decks that would want to use it will have trouble protecting it. Hasnāt caused any waves even in the OCG.
Imperial Order - Errata thoughā¦honestly, I personally think the card is still immensely stupid. It might get banned all over again.
Wisdom-Eye Magician - I guess Magicians will be eased up on now that Kirin is gone though with the new rules in a few months itās a hollow vicotry.
Zoodiac Ratpier - Thankfully the TCG didnāt completely bury itās head in the sand and gave Zoo a decent hit. Theyāll still be a top deck, but it wonāt be nigh mandatory to run them in anything since drawing Raptier is not particularly fun anymore outside of pure.
Interrupted Kaiju Slumber - Meh, I guess.
Sangan - Sangan is free! With an errata, but who cares? Bring up the car, weāre taking him home!

Nah itās not. Itās a good card, but you donāt go off nearly as hard. Now IMPERIAL ORDER is still a fucking problem and will probably need to be banned again. But since it got the errata, itās hard to be immensely mad at it coming off the list. Itās expected.
CED is still banned because his errata hasnāt dropped (this list becomes legal when Duelist Saga drops, so the Erratas of the 6 cards on the list become live). Now as to why they havenāt bothered to reprint him with the Errata yet is beyond me but thatās the essential reason.
Stratos being banned still is stupid but again, I doubt they want to make any sweeping changes until Links drop. They canāt bring Stratos back and do NOTHING to HEROs, and thereās not a lot of point in an experimental āBring Stratos back and tweak other HERO numbersā when the game is about to undergo a heavy shift. With Links dropping, it might allow Stratos to come back without touching any other HERO cards at all, but they canāt do that with 3+ months to go and Nationals coming up.
D/D/D vs Paleo, depends who goes first really. Itās not easy to wade through all that backrow for D/Ds but on the other end, Paleos have to worry about Dark Contract with Errors (which will be seeing more play) if they go second. Iāll give the slight edge to D/Ds if only because D/Ds win going first and have a small chance going second, whereas Paleos have no chance going second.
ABC is still at full power because they didnāt do shit since RATE dropped. Itās a bad look when you canāt manage any sort of tops in a format where Skull Servants and Chain Burn are.
Norden is still allowed because itās really bad when Links drop, and they donāt want to bother banning it for a grand total of one format.
Lastly Going First is ALWAYS broken. Maxx C could be at 6 and that wouldnāt change.
yea thats my point on CED, he is in 20th anniversary pack which a majority of the duelist saga cards were pulled cause all the errata cards were in 20 AP, so why is tcg omitting him from this set(we dont have full spoiler yet, but seeing as he isnt unbanned, safe to assume its not in duelist saga), what is it about CED that they dont like?
as for ABC, zoo turn 1 isnt as strong for now until macr comes, and as for metalfoes kirin is bannedā¦so what is to stop abc from making a comeback now?

I donāt think Konami TCG has it out for CED or anything. Itās possible theyāre just gonna use him to headline another reprint set down the line. Not unheard of.
Whatās to stop ABCs? Kaijus still being played, and since Paleos are gonna be even more huge, that becomes an extreme likelihood. And I donāt particularly like their matchup against Paleos as it is. ABC have always been a fringe Top Tier deck, even when they were on top, just because the deck lived and died on Dragon Buster.
What cards would they even hit now? its too late.
