The best thing besides the community and the level of play you can get at Game Galaxy is that if you get burnt out playing for hours, you can spend quarters at all the other games there. The pinball machines alone are worth the trip IMO.

Umm, I actually went to FF in the Tekken 4 days. Had my Tekken character card and everything. It had Jin Kazama on it. I may have not gone back much after T4, but that was also due to not really having super reliable transportation. I remember this one regular dude who talked mad shit the whole time. Never knew his name.
I will however admit to it taking me fucking forever to find FF when I first started going, you know how I am with driving on side roads and shit.

Fun Fair arcade was the most gangsta arcade in all of memphis,period! Mad memories were had in that place. Had the saltiest mvc2 cabinet known to man lol i wonder what ever happened to it i know i inscribed my initials in it right before the place closed down since i was one of the only ppl with the longest win streaks in that machine and total matches played in a period of 8 years lol. 59 wins in a row was my record at fun fair, good times! I miss LD
Sev waltzed into FF with no fear. Had tvs, setups, and some more shit. Nobody fucked with him because he was German and had the nerve to wear sandals while carrying heavy stuff. No fear. Clark used to wear dark colors all the time and have his hair over his eyes. Dudes didn’t know if he was a goth or if he’d get mad after a loss and just shoot up the whole arcade. So he always got “GGs mane” after AK DDT’ed them. Alex was the white kid who WASN’T supposed to be in that part of town but if he dropped a combo he used such vulgar language and got so mad that only people who knew him would tease him until he started trying to be nicer but would still get mad and that was just hilarious. Cody used to throw 4 EWGFs in one combo and niggas ain’t fucking with white boys that do crazy fucking shit.
That’s just a few of people who would’ve potentially got fucked with if the place was OMFG unsafe. And this isn’t counting the people who came through randomly, or minorities in the smoke out clicks who were more nigga than the actually niggas.
Game Galaxy on the other hand, yea I got stabbed and robbed once in the corner by the CvS2 cabinet but it’s ok because they left me with enough change for one more game of Tekken 6.0.

I drive 3 hours to play there and trust me I wouldn’t do it if it was “sketch”. The Nashville crew is very nice and willing to help you learn and grow.
What the fuck is “sketch” anyway? Only usages of the word I know is of a drawing and skateboarding style.

Hey guys, just wanted to throw this out there.
One of our FG players and Game Galaxy employee Brandon “GoldenOreos” Brocius recently was bitten by some bastard spider, what the doctor said looked like a Brown Recluse bite, and he’s feeling like total ass. I know most of you have either played him in fighting games, or have at least said hi to him during one of his shifts at Game Galaxy. Well saying all that to say, Brandon is a pretty cool ass dude, and I thought it might be nice to put something together for him from our little FGC here, from us to him. So I’ll be taking a collection/donations for the next few days, which will 100% go toward getting Brandon something cool as all hell to maybe make the pain a little less painful.
