Sorry Josh, I did fall asleep again last night. I’ve been on fumes it feels like for the past week. I’ll definitely get a set in today. Stream should be over fairly quick because it’s all finals today.

It was seriously just getting lucky and guessing right for that first mixup at the start of the round. I don’t think I managed to get away from Hulk once if he landed that first hit.

Nah, we’ll practice up some time this month before MWC. Maybe me, you, Luiz, and Tad can get together one day and get a ton of matches in.
Hulk makes me sad. I can’t figure out how to fight him.
Add to it that Astaroth is very good at teching throws and we have a blah situation all around.
Ha! We had about 20 throw techs in that one match. That was great.
Hulk is a decent character, but he has a few flaws. He has a large hitbox that allows for instant overheads, he gets zoned out easily, he’s slow, and he gets beaten out in air-to-air combat. A lot of it is matchup experience though, which is mainly why I’m pushing for some sessions prior to MWC. Plus, it’s just fun hearing you scream about st.H mid-match.

if you want something class-based, battlefield bad company and crysis are apparently very good. Brink is apparently hot garbage by most accounts, which sux since it was one of the very few shooters i was actually looking forward to.
Aside: IS ANYBODY PLAYING TODAY!? I’m so desperate to play real people I’ll play street fighter! I’m starving for games right now since I didn’t know ya’ll ended up having a session at squab’s wednesday and I apparently missed a session with the Tekken crew yesterday. Plus I work tomorrow so I won’t have much time to spend at sev’s.

Just got back from vacation so I couldn’t make it to Hastings last week. I’m actually looking to (gasp) buy MvC3 for Xbox if I can get it for $40 or less, I still don’t think it’s a great competitive game but I have to admit it is fun as long as you play it casually and ignore all the bullshit that’s constantly happening. If anyone wants to sell their copy PM me.
I have 2 weeks until classes start for me so if anyone wants to get some games in besides at Hastings let me know. I’ll play pretty much everything except Marvel 2, fuck that game is hard.
