Played SSF4 online for the first time tonight in forever… man I REALLY need to figure out how to punish better…
Played a Chun Li that just SPAMMED sweep NON STOP, and it fucking beat me. I KNEW it was coming, blocked it, and everytime I attempted to land a counter hit on her recovery I’d whiff and then get hit myself. I just couldn’t figure out what to punish that shit with using Viper. Couldn’t figure out what I was in range to do… Aggravating as hell.
And now that I think about it, I bet cr.LK or MK would have reach that bitch… DAMN YOOUOUUU

Me and G-hizzy are going to be in Murf soon. You should come play with us. There’s no real punishing Chun’s sweep, as far as say, sweeping after he sweeps you like you can with Ryu or Akuma, especially with Viper. You should have just jumped the sweep or done chain seismo’s since people online can’t deal with that, or anything else with Viper. Footsies ain’t work with Vipz. I find Viper to be the best online character besides maybe Gief.
Enjoying MK and Noob more and more, except against Kung Lao. HOLY FUCK. FUCK THAT CHARACTER. I haven’t even fought a Kung that can do a combo and I’d rather amputate each of my limbs with soup can lid, then roll down a hill into the Dead Sea than fight that character. Explain this a little more. So let’s say Dorm puts down a carpet and Wolv is spaced where H Slash will go behind. He should get behind Dorm without being impeded?
Grim: As far as I know, without anticipating the sweep and using a move that is invincible, there’s no way to punish it. For example, I can use Bison EX Scissor Kick to go through it but EX PC will trade in some weird situations because her hitbox is so low.
Chun’s sweep can also be focused.
