On a more serious note, jacob, you posted some time ago with a list of characters that can actually fight the twins. Not necessarily murder them like Gief, but just those that were somewhat viable vs them.

These 3 give him trouble. Sagat, Thawk, and Fei. It’ll end up being 5.5 in their favor.
These feel even or close to even. Yang, Gief, Ken, Makoto, Viper, and Adon.
Someone to look out for is Juri against the twins.

Characters that give the twins the trouble according to Ryan Hart:
Yang, Makoto, Sagat, Ibuki, Rufus, Guile, T. Hawk, Ken, Dictator, Gief (of course).
I have also read that Dudley, C. Viper, Akuma, Balrog, and Fei Long all can hang with the twins. At one point Sagat and Balrog were considered counter picks but I’m not sure if that is still standing.

I am liking the presentation of the game such as the characters moving on the character select screen and the emotion shown by the losing character at the end of each fight. Hope we can see more soon!

If by trouble you mean “going even” the only characters that can go even or 4.5 are:
Makoto
Adon
Yang
T.Hawk
Bison
Dudley
The ones that have advantage are:
Fei Long
Sagat
That’s it. The rule is anyone with a good jab or midrange move to stop the dive kick completely will do well. You would “think” it is Gief, but you guys are not aware of standing strong as footsie or Yun’s perfect anti-air.
If you can’t play footsies with Yun, you aren’t going to win. Gief can not jump. His footsies are very very hard to use against fishing Standing Strong, and remember, any short/jab leads to combos AND Yun has a command grab with crazy range on EX.
This is not day 1 stuff, we’ve had the game for 7 months already so I always find it surprising when stuff comes out with characters when we’ve all been over this before.

Mhmmmm, interesting. Maybe its just me, but I think I clearly stated that the list mentioned, IS ACCORDING TO RYAN HART! lol Not me! I haven’t had the chance to play the game yet so of course I don’t know what beats what. However, I can go by what other respected players say and what I mentioned is merely a reflection of what other players (who have had the game) think. I can use this information as a base going into the game knowing what I may need to try in order to learn how to beat the twins. Thats all. Ryan Hart was mentioned in an earlier post so I thought I would just simply list what he stated.
