Jason and Richard, great job on that retro arcade room. It was fun messing around with random games while waiting on my matches to come up in the tournament. Terminator pinball is top tier, because at certain points, you actually shoot the ball with a trigger at a target. lol

Oh really? Last time I saw him he said he’d have some stick work for me. Wonder why he disappeared.
He lives in Oklahoma now. But he did bring his stick, the X Arcade. Uses the joystick on the 1p side and the buttons on the 2p side. I don’t even know if he even actually wants it modded since he’s had it that way for years. But he’ll be here until Sunday night.
I’m so dissapointed I can’t be there.

I ran into him at Final Round. He showed me that big-ass stick and said he wanted me to work on it. Never called me though. I have his phone number, so maybe I should harass him. 
He gets a bad rap for stuff he has said/done in regards to the locals in the Arizona community. I am not Mr. Current Events exactly but the Phoenix scene was my third home at one point so I know all of the ogs and there’s just some things he has done/said that caused him to be semi ostracized. I am sure people will always give second, third, and fourth chances to people but it still amazes me how “forgiving” the community is to some people and how bad they treat others who have only helped…I know so many unsung guys that lug their arcade and console tournament stuff each and every year to tournaments and pay the sacrificial lamb fees on top of it and barely get a shoutout in a thread on SRK but if Marn or Juicebox join a new team, it’s front page news…
Ok so I am off all next week so if anyone wants to get games in during the week I can host Mon-Thur early till about 5. So for those of you with time off work or whatever let me know what works. I am down for SF/Marvel/Tek whatever

Yeah, I heard about all that, but it was never really public knowledge so I’m like whatever about it.
He was cool to me and the guys in person, so I’ll go with that impression over stuff that was supposedly said/done that I only read cryptic snatches about on SRK.
I mean yeah I’m sure some shit went down, but again no one involved came out and made these things public, so it is what it is, I guess.

Shit never gets made public, it gets deleted on SRK. Believe me, if people were allowed to say what they wanted there would be very different things being said on SRK but that is why a lot of people are unaware of just what Poshib mentioned, the “politics” of the fighting game community. It’s nothing that was “supposedly” said, it “was” done and happened. This isn’t even a reference to his distracting demeanor and disrespect towards other players in the past; I am sure many people that do things to others in the community try to atone for that; we see that on this very forum, but politics control this community in so many ways I feel like I am stuck between liberals and conservatives again…
Another thing I think his bullshit is say I went to Evo and I was 3hrs late for my pool I’d have to forfeit , but say Justin Wong was 3hrs late he’d either get moved or they’d hold up the pool until he got there.
