Post came across as douchebaggery, but would you expect anything less from Gabe? He’s the most matter-of-fact, no sugarcoating, person on this board. That’s because he doesn’t give a fuck. He’s taken his share of shitstorms. To the point where if anyone crosses him, he can get them back in a sarcastically frank way, if he does nothing else. He and Duckie, like countless others, have had their quarrels. But if taken in context, the post could’ve been seen as “just another TN post”. And if roles were reversed, it’d prob still be there, no infractions, and just salt or laughs.
One thing I like about Duckie is that he usually always takes the usual jokes in stride and says something slick that you may not get right now, but it’ll hit you later on. But I guess stuff cut too close today. Oh well.
