After playing roughly 6 hours of Sonic Generations, I can safely say that I haven’t gotten this much sheer happiness from playing a video game in a long time. I got exactly what I fucking wanted. Classic Sonic plays perfectly as he should. Modern Sonic is still basically like Sonic Colors and Sonic Unleashed’s daytime levels, but better. The entire game is fucking scenery porn. The story is like Colors, with the simple, light-heated dialogue and general lack of deep angsty bullshit from the Sonic 2006 era. The music makes my ears grow boners of their own. I haven’t had this much satisfaction from playing a game since I got my hands on Ratchet & Clank 2 the day that shit came out.
If you like fun things, buy this game, please.
Soooooo the Binding of Issac just got added to the newest Humble Indie Bundle. This game is basically Zelda + Silent Hill with a dash of permadeath. It’s so damn good.

Lol, I doubt that. Hulk gets raped by zoning. Nemesis dont give a fuck about yo zoning. Hulk got better but nemesis is BAWSE!

On the other hand, Gamefly sent me Ultimate Tenkaichi today. I usually just mess around in dbz games to play through the story and see what’s different in the iteration. Ultimate Tenkaichi is the worst pile of crap I’ve played in a long time. 80% of the fights are now guessing buttons (playing rock/paper/scissors) while watching cutscene rushing and beams. The other 20% is mashing X near the opponent to initiate the cutscenes. The create-a-character is just creating Goku, Trunks, or small Gohan clones with different colored hair and attire.
Hulk’s Gamma Waves can now be spammed faster, and they have a ton of durability points. He zones and counterzones better than Nemesis. It’s also been shown that Nemesis can be punished ON ADVANCING GUARD in several of his moves. That’s terrible.
The only thing Nemesis has going for him is raw damage and whiffs into lv3 super grab. That said, I’ll still try him out to compare the two.
Yeah, I’m not sure how he’s going to handle Ammy, Arthur, Joe, Zero, and RR. A lot of his decent moves hit high.
