First off let me apologize for some of the things that happened the past weekend at my past tourney. I had a few guys that were suppose to be there to help run brackets that have done it for me in the past that know how to do things right to cancelled on me at the last second, not last minute but last second. I then only had like 2 refs there and I had to try to not only play in some games but run up behind them and try to correct their mistakes. As far as I know the only bracket that was ran poorly was the mvc3 bracket, my friend that jumped in to try to help run that bracket was cedric and for some last minute instructions did as best as he could to run that. I alone had to do ssf4, mk9, and tekken alone. Again all of this is only due to people not showing up where as they were needed to help out at the very last second. I’m at the moment getting things prepared in a more professional way for Red September 3 as I type as far as venues, brackets, and more dependable people to ref for me. I also will be doing the brackets electroniclly this time to help resolve this issue in the near future. Even if I have to get a mic along with a speaker to annouce the names in multibrackets as the tourney to make sure their handled correctly then so be it. Also I see that their were problems with people wanting to play on selective setups at the tourney, some people brought crt’s and some brought flatscreens and monitors. Many had complaints about the crt’s and others had theirs about the flatscreens. I will do my research for future tourneys to see which ones play better and try to have them at future tourneys. Once that’s done then once your called to go to that certain tv your are expected to play there, if you try to change or refuse you are basiclly forfeiting your match(no questions asked). Im really trying to be as fair as I can be to everyone cause I dont want my name as an tournament organizer to go up in burned smoke, nor to I want to end the friendship that I have with people in the surrounding area over some lil bs. If anything I want things to get better among us so that things in the surrounding fighting game community can continue to grow. Again I deeply apologize for how things turned out and it most certainly wasnt intended to happen to any of you guys, I hope we can look past this and move forward as well as stay on even grounds cause without any of you all no of this will continue to progress. As stated above alot of the stuff just came down on me during the tourney at the last moment so it was just kinda frustrating on me alot to try to make things come together, I hope you all can forgive me for this and work with me to hopefully make things better in the future.

one last thing I think the stream was cool an all but can you at least make sure it has SOUND that the players can hear and not just the stream

having no sounds fucked me up big time for example when Dax super jumped with sent I thought I teleported behind up only to get hit with the frying pan I cant see dorm when he super jumped the only way for me to know he teleported is to hear dorm say BEWARE!

I think that has more to do with Rawkus’s stream setup. I know the one at ARK had no sound also.

No worries good sir. As I stated beforehand, alot of this things that happened that day were unintentional and just pure hectic coincidence. You should not be asking for forgiveness or anything like that. Tournaments are not the easiest thing in the world to do. Hiccups will occur. We just have to learn from our mistakes and keep on truckin! You guys are mad cool and when it was all said and done, the tournament was fun! I will be getting in touch with you in the near future homie so watch that PM box!

I saw the CapAm player at that tournament. That was fun to watch. Bishop uses She Hulk, and we got to play in the tournament.

Haven’t seen the Hulk or MODOK player yet.

So I was just looking at my theoretical schedule in my head this morning and I forgot that I might have to do some scholarship hours this weekend. Hopefully they don’t call me between now and Friday. If I do have to work the highschool graduations (i.e. camera and sound work) I won’t be able to make it on Saturday. If not, I’ll be there.

I’ve already told all the Clarksville players and got one ‘yes’ and a bunch of ‘maybe’s.’
