Yea, find someone else winning tournaments with Sim if you think it’s the character.
Ok… so get this… I called 12game(from whom i preordered) and they said that they weren’t going to be able to ship me the game until next Friday. So I’m like… fuuuck. I called everywhere, i went to town and tried all the shops that I couldn’t call (Dutch shops blow). No luck.
I got a tip that Rotterdam had a copy. So, I called and the guy said that he’d set aside a copy for me. I told my wife the situation and she was all pumped. We’d go to a post-WW2 city and check it out, get me my game, eat some dinner, then come home. (Rotterdam was destroyed in WW2 so it’s an incredibly modern city, architecture-wise).
So, we got on the train and rode to Rotterdam:

We got there and the city was beautiful. The scale was magnificent. Imagine a country that has a limited amount of space and incredibly high emphasis on sustainable engineering having a chance to rebuild a city from scratch after the war.
We travelled to Future Zone which was the most amazing game store that I’ve ever been to. Then, I bought 2 copies of KoF and some disney sing along game.
We went to eat and then boarded our train in Rotterdam. We just sat there. Over the speaker in Dutch we hear that there is a problem with the tracks and that the train isn’t going anywhere. They point us to another train. So, we rush across the station to the other train. After all of it… We’re redirected from Rotterdam to Amsterdam’s Sciphol airport. Which… sucks… because Amsterdam is NORTH of Utrecht and Rotterdam is an hour SOUTH of Utrecht…
So, we travel to Sciphol.

At Schiphol we take the next train to Utrecht. Keep in mind that I have my 6 year old and my 16 month old. It’s getting pretty late. So, we are going home finally. We go from stop to stop and suddenly the train doesn’t continue. We basically get stuck at a train station because it won’t be continuing to Utrecht. So, we waiting for an hour at the station until we finally were able to get on a train to Utrecht.

Anyway… By the time I actually got home and put the game in my machine it was almost 11pm and I have to go to bed by midnight at the latest because my baby wakes at 7am.
Here it’s Saturday and I have to train my BnBs for my characters because tomorrow I’m hosting a meet with 6 people and 3 setups.
Anyway, long boring story I’m sure… But, that’s how I got KOF13.
Also netplay is fucking perfect within Holland. Lol…
