cool episode, nice to see clark finally get a new ability. man, allison mack and erica durance = that new hotness. screw kristen kreuk, that bitch is way too skinny now… if i was clark i’d be having threesome’s with chloe and lois on the regular. oliver queen in smallville is interesting, apparantly he wants to find people with abilities to form a justice league type group… isn’t that kinda fucked up? in justice league, he was the one that was reluctant to even be part of it.
Truth. Kristin Kreuk hit the Wall that Million has so wonderfully coined. She was really cute in her younger years but she does NOT look good as an adult. Meanwhile Chloe

Although I’m not a big Green Arrow fan… I have to admit that the smallville producers made him look pretty bad ass when he was sinking arrows into the Daily Planet Globe and calling the country that he was hitting.

Green Arrow is a good character, but he hasn’t been big in the comics for about two decades now. I’m almost positive they’re putting him in the show strictly based on his popularity in the JL cartoon.
I’d have to agree with ya here. Lois was looking exceptionally hot, and Allison for some odd reason has that glow that old Kristin used to have in the earlier seasons. Kristin has lost that since a season or so ago, but I still think she’s gorgeous regardless.
I was like WTF when Oliver Queen turned out to be the guy who played as Fox from Passions, even lol’ed a bit as it took me by suprise. Their dumb reef idea flopped so they decided to make him into Green Arrow. Not only that but looks like he’s here to cause trouble, which isn’t like his comic book character at all. At least the actor is lucky enough to go from one comic book hero to another. And as far as I know, he’s still married to the chick that plays as Theresa.
i wish cw would’ve picked up the aquaman/mercy reef show. i got a chance to watch the pilot and it wasn’t bad at all.

That, and he’s essentially Batman Lite in most ways. Seems like he’d be the perfect half-assed Batman replacement for this show.
This is especially noticeable when you find out that Oliver Green is the one behind kidnapping Lex in order to acquire information. It just seems like something Bruce Wayne would do.
I was just worried about why Green Arrow would want to know that info. To make himself have abilities? Isn’t that kind of not in his character? Maybe I’m missing something here.
I really hope the writers have some kind of Mercy Reef nod when Green Arrow meets Aquaman.
Re: Green Arrow being Batman Lite: Did you know that when they first made Green Arrow, he was pretty much a rip off of Batman? He even had an “arrow cave” and an “Arrowmobile”. Don’t forget the sidekick and the millionaire status.
I still wish things panned out with Adam Knight, though… we need a real Batman in Smallville.
Things that made me groan in this past episode:

i thought clark blowing the clouds away was tight, clark wasn’t gonna let the day be ruined… it just shows how strong the chlark friendship is.
i liked how in this episode clark actually had some humor like he did way back in season 1-2, it feels like classic smallville now. so far, liking this season way better than season 5. now if only they’d bring back pete ross! pete was the shit.

lana is always with the wrong guys, she was even with that dude in season 2 or 3 that was dead and hadthat to take some serum that had clark’s blood in it to stay alive, guy was supposed to be bruce wayne i think but they ended up changing it.
i think lionel is turning in to the classic lionel we know and love. he said his connection to jor-el is gone but he could clearly translate kryptonian letters, he had the fuckin kryptonian alphabet there on his paper so he’s definitely lying about stuff lol
i second that. him sneezing and fooling Chloe was LOL moment. the look on Chloe’s face was hot.

pretty okay episode tonight. i’m glad it wasn’t a meteor freak/freak of the week episode, instead it was someone that came from the phantom zone, but the way clark got rid of her was just so tasteless, i was staring at my tv going “that’s it…?”

Season 5 was dark, but poorly written. Cmon, we had a ripoff episode of Saw, M’FIN SAW for gods sake!
I understood that Lex went as Alexander T.G but Lana as Cleopatra? Wrong time period…and LOL @ Oliver Queen going as Robin Hood, but actual Green Arrow looks like Robin Hood haha. I think they did it as a nod to his old/comic book version.
The preview of Green Arrow in the next episode looks dope, and its interesting how they replaced the traditional hat w/ feather with a hood, makes it more modern-like, yet still along the lines of Green Arrow.
Main thing I didn’t like about this episode were how fast that chick died, and the whole Lexana arc. I never did like the arc and this episode made that worse. Basically Lex opened up w/, ya know what I wanna do it, and if you don’t, then I don’t want to be in this relationship. Lana still doesn’t feel like its the right thing to do, and still confused, but she does it anyways because she needs somebody to hang onto. That excuse of wanting to live life is BS, the conversation with Chloe contradicts it. Her emotions are obviously not settled.
