And Korngo is that tounament going to happen??? Becasue i was thinking of setting up my own tourney with SFIII, CvS2, MvC2, and GGXX#. I allready have about 15 people interested and i dont think i am going to set it up for about a month or so, so i expect more people to join. And the best part of it is, is that i got a 120" screen wiht a HD projector :]
I’m still in the works of talking to Kelly about it. Sorry about all that. We also might have some other people over from Bakersfield possible. But they need some time. I’m trying to work it all out so we could all do it at one point, and possible have a bigger tourney.
If you run a tourney like, then wow, I wouldin’t mind going. =D! Specially with a projector like that! Sounds hella good. I’ll try to get ahold of Kelly on AIM soon 'cause he’s kinda busy 'cause of personal issues.
BTW, I notice your location is Santa Cruz. I was at the boardwalk about 2 weeks ago. How big is the scene over there? 'cause when I was over there I just kept playing some K-Groove guy. Also, is it GGXX#R? Or just normal GGXX? I never played #r yet, but I played XX a little bit. I’m not any good at it or anything.
LOL i played that K-groove bested guy today…he used yama, blanka, and sagat. If I hold a tourney he will probely (sp?) go. But the scene over here is pretty good more people seem to be playing Cvs2 and more good players and starting to come out, and they finally put in SFIII:3s and took out the old SFIII…YAY!!!. And it is GGXX#R Midnight Carnival for X-Box (dont worry i got real nice arcade sticks, and i will get it the day whne it comes out which is the 8th 
And if I do hold a tourney it most likely take place sometime near the end of October just so ya know. And if you are able to hold a tourney yourself count me in!
Sounds good! Do you think any other SC guys would come? The more the better. Plus CvS2 usually gets the less entrys when we have tourneys for 'em. =\

Yeah there are some marvel players around here…but its mostly Capcom vs SNK 2 here…i would love it if more people would play Third Strike but no…they wanna play CvS2 instead
well, i guess i was gone for a little bit on here cause damn, this thread got hella posts on it out of nowhere. I couldnt use my internet this whole weekend :lame:. Neway, Im down to throw something . I would join the cvs2 and 3s tourney even though i would get owned up pretty badly. I stopped playing those games a while ago. Still play here and there but not enough to compete with neone. I would also like to go to the tourney in santa cruz. But ima let korngo organize the tourney here in salinas. peace

Hey korngo can you give me a estimate on what mabey the date of the the tourney might be??? i cant go on mondays, wedsdays (sp?), and on Fridays i can go from 12 pm and on. But every other day is fine with me
Oh, don’t worry. It will more likely be on a Saturday or Sunday. Here’s how I have it set up for so far:
3s: 2/3 for up untill finals, which will be 3/5. 3~5 entry fee, depends on how manny people join
CvS2: 1 game untill finals, which will be 2/3. 3-5 dollar entry fee, this also depends on how manny people join.
MvC2: 2/3. Losers Finals: 3/5. Grand finals: 4/7. 5 dollar entry fee.
I hope someone has some DC to PC converters so we can play AE 3s. If not, then 3s prolly wont get played. Sorry. =(
Edit: Also, do you have any info on how manny people might be coming from SC? Just wondering so I know if to start it super early or not. =]
I dont know for sure how many SC people might join i need a date first then i can tell ya. And i take it that this will be played on consoles right?? So do ya know what sticks will be used to play?

korngo, i talked to metrock yesterday. He cant get the word to the people in time and he doesnt think many of them will come due to random reasons. ie. they lag or flake at last minute. I told him maybe we can set something up with them later. So, go ahead with the tourney with these guys from santa cruz. peace foo.
