Me and my buddy have been playing pretty much everyday since. People are welcome to show up here for games. We generally just play in his basement but it’s roomy enough for 8+ people. Nice TV etcetc. Friday-Sunday I’m in Kansas for a convention though so no games for me :\ But anytime after I get back I’d be down for hosting.
We do need a place to meet up for offline play. I fucking hate online thanks to MvC3. Also, I fucked my hand up working on my car, the hand was already kind of gimped cause of surgery awhile back, so I’m even worse now lol.

I can always bring my 360/stick/19inch monitor since thats easy to carry around. I would bring the 40inch, but theres no fucking way I can move that without something happening to it, I can feel something going wrong.
I’m really contemplating on picking up a SE Fightstick for $50 at a local gamestop. I already have a TE, but I kinda want a second stick.
EDIT- I went and bought my friend the SE Stick. He wants to learn fighters so I picked it up for him. He has been playing pad for the past two months. I think I will take him to FFC on Sunday, though I doubt he will play.
Dude, SE is alright but you gotta replace the buttons. The stick isn’t as annoying but should eventually be replaced all the same. Outside that I would have recommended waiting on one of the 99$ deals Mad Catz is garunteed to have. Still too many Round 2 TE’s to get rid of for 99 flat (no ship) and they are a fantastic deal. Due to some weird shit on my MvC stick (randomly disconnects but immediately reconnects) I use my R2TE.

We are going to replace buttons and stick. He wanted a stick right now so I just went and got him one. I have a round2 that I got for 150. I didnt buy it on sale, which I should have.
Heh ya I have yet to buy a stick for asking price. My MvC was 30% off due to employee discount I got from my buddy @ gamestop when it was brand new and I got the R2TE for 99 during norcal regionals. Story there is that I almost got one during Socal regionals and I remembered their code being SOCAL so I went into madcatz store (gameshark) and put in NORCAL on I think a thursday just out of curiosity and lo and behold, it worked.
That’s funny. I am looking to put new art on the R2. I’m waiting for some extra money that I want to spend on it to come in my hand. I’d rather help the community than help myself. I think I’m going over to Josh’s(the kid who I bought the stick for) house tomorrow morning and hopefully we run some Marvel3.
This weekend I’m out of town so no go for games but I’ll keep you guys posted after I get back

Quick update on the tournament tomorrow: My PS3 decided to take a crap this week (go figure), so I will not be able to offer the PS3 version. We are still go for FFC’s 360 version, so plan accordingly.
I’ll be there tomorrow for sure. Not really sure if I want to play SSFIV because I know for sure I will get scraped but I might as well to help the community.
