Hey guys, I’ve met a few of you before from Joker’s Monthly Brawl tournaments. I’m thinkin about doing a midnight launch party for MvC3 here in Omaha. Just wondering if people would want to get together to play or if there’s already one being hosted?
Not hearing anything yet, I can’t do anything as I have school on Tuesday, if I end up purchasing it on day 1, I will try to meet up as I don’t have to work. HQYZ, hittin u up with the F/r on live.
I rarely play online these days, at least fighting games. Can’t stand DSL, can’t stand this part of Nebraska’s shitty internet. If there’s a college game room or some shit that can provide a local host, that’s all I’m looking for. I am willing to drive the 2.5-3 hours to get offline games, seriously. Fuck online.

Poison I added you, I don’t know which tourneys I am attending, for sure not evo, I’m not 21 and college is around the corner. I’ll go when I am 21. Poison, sometimes I go to FFC to play (I know lol) but sometimes I see some kids that are decent. I for one am not even considered good, I am a below average player mos def. Maybe we can meet up at your house or something to play. Hit me up on Xbox.

I’ll add you shortly man. We can talk about setting something up definitely for the future for playing at the house. I joke about my basement being the DEATH STAR. Fully functional just not fully operational. I am in the process of remodeling it. haha.
I wont be attending EVO either. I’m done with college at the moment but I have other things going on in my life, etc. I have gotten the green light though for this tournament on the 26th. I cant wait. It should be a fun atmosphere. Hopefully we can play some before then.
Also do you just show up the day of and sign up or do you have to sign up before hand?

Local tournaments are, usually, pay at the door. Bigger events utilize pre-registration/payment to better handle larger turn out of players.

Shit I would have given you more. Ya I go to University of Nebraska @ Lincoln as a major in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. I’m looking to get hookups for any scene really, as the only person I know up here is Dirty.
EDIT:BTW, wondering if anyone could offer some advice on how to make it to these tourny’s in Omaha, as I am from out of state and really only familiar with Lincoln due to relatives. Any help would be welcome.

Google Maps is your friend or GPS. That’s what I use when I go to Lincoln. I never actually pay attention that much, from what I believe is you just go east on I 80. Family Fun Center is on 72nd and Dodge, make sure you are heading west when going there as if you are going east you have to take a left on Dodge which can be a pain.

Its an arcade. They are having a tourney there on either the 20th or the 26th, I can’t remember. Anyways, I want to up my game, Trith, they use Happ bat top sticks there so beware. 25 cents for 5 minutes is what it costs when you go on any day for SSFIV. Otherwise it is 25cents for 3rd Strike every game unless you win, They don’t have MvC2 there, looks like they are getting MvC3 for 360. They use 360, not the Arcade version of SF4. It is just played on a modified arcade cab. It’s a decent arcade. There is another arcade in the mall with a bunch of worn out arcade machines to play/purchase and that place is called Tilt. Have at it.
The FFC one is supposed to be on the 20th but it is subject to change. The 26th is Midwest Super Brawl. I should be at em both, hope to meet some of ya there.
