I did get that t6 w/ hori arcade stick. I just need to replace the stick for a 8 gate that does’nt “click” everytime I move.
Do you feel totally comfortable with the arcade stick Shatta?And I know what you mean,Melvin used to use his stick and it sounded like he was clicking a bic lighter as he would be attempting his launchers.
Good seeing some old faces from the O.N.E and meeting some new heads. Really wish i could have got games with at least a few of you guys, but i was just so focused on the tourny i wasn’t doing casuals until after. Hope to see you guys more regularly at MaxOuts in the future!
In preparation for the Midwest Qualifier on December 18th,I have a question Omaha Tekken crew,Let’s have a tourney this month?Who’s game?I don’t understand for what ungodly reason but we have all fallen off,I still play regularly,and I am wondering where has everyone gone to,with the excitement of TTT2 being in development I would think more of you guys would be hungry,Vince,Darnell,Brad you guys are presently excused being that you guys were at the last possible showing for any attempt at a showing,but dammit Reggie,Ray,Phillip,Antwain,how can any of us expect to seat well in tournaments without regular play?I don’t understand it man,it’s like we expect to lift weights for only one day and then the next be able to lift 400 pounds(Except you Darnell you might actually be able to do that shit.Lay off the ‘roids man niggas are gettin’ jealous)hahaha Seriously though,what’s up man who is game for a tourney? To be honest, Tekken was never alive to be considered dead in the first place. It had a small following here in Omaha but let’s face it, this will always be a predominantly SF town. The majority of the good Tekken is played in Texas/California/New York/Atlanta so I say the few of us players that are left pack up and move. (wish i could to be honest)
As for me, I’ve been playing again but mostly just online due to lack of other choices. Pretty sure that only serves to make my bad and scrubby habits even worse so if anyone wants to play let me know. Courtney, I know I owe you some gametime so we’ll hopefully play soon.
How often are there tourney’s at FFC?
I live in Columbus and play SSF4 online quite a bit(psn). I’m always looking to improve. Also have BB but not so hot at that yet.

the Tekken scene is dead due to lack of comp around here. online netcode sucks, and there’s too much other shit going on with people, including myself. the only option that i can see is if people did their share of traveling, competing, and actually learning something from these hookups. this has to be on a consistent basis in order for anything decent to happen. but since that might not happen during this Tekken 6 lifetime, i’ll just sit here an reminisce on how awesome of a time it was back when i played tekken 5 and DR semi-seriously
