I think its because the 4 players get 2gether more regularly than the tekken heads… thats the only way it will get more competitive in the tourneys and everyone will stop assuming that Reggie will win em all lol
as soon as Im at a point to have people over again, Ill start having the thursday night fight night again for all the SF4 players. I hope that its pretty soon.

Alright,I personally feel that is all important,however,I personally should know my weaknesses,which is why I stated what I need better development in.As for the previous statement,It all matters,but I realize where I need the most practice,I would not mind getting some games in Ray,but if you wish to please let me know when you are available,I need stronger opponents or else my game will suffer.
I think its cuz the tekken scene is takin off for real… All of us are real close when it comes to street fighter and hang out regularly… Idk about the tekken guys tho, seems like they are a more spread out bunch

well this is how it usually is…i play with the SF crowd every once in a while, but every time i try to up my sf game, a new tekken comes out haha.
so i’ll start playing tekken, i’ll learn a bunch of new shit, meet a bunch of new ppl, and then the scene starts to thin out. after tekken 5’s scene thinned out here in omaha, we were left with ray, afolabi, antwain, branden, and myself.
my old tekken crew and i have all been pretty good friends over the past few years, but everyone kinda has their own stuff going own. now that tekken 6 is out, it’s kinda the same thing, but then it’s not. it’s a bit of a different crowd this time around.
it’s not that i don’t mind hanging out with the new ppl(courtney, brad, and melvin), especially since they’ve shown some energy in wanting to really play some tekken. it’s just that we really don’t have the same interests i guess. that’ll eventually change overtime, but right now, i’ve been preoccupying myself with other stuff.

i hear ya reggie, lol you and old school gotta make these new guys hungry and make them get better. Even I am still working on getting to the point where i can consistently hang with the top 4 street fighter players. but losing to people that seem unbeatable really motivates you to play better…being completely honest idk if i would ever want to be at the point where noone was better than me cuz i wouldn’t have fun playing at all.

I appreciate the motivational ethics here,and I have plenty to say all positive,first and foremost,I thank all of you guys for coming out and spending time doing something we all enjoy doing,playing video games…in this example Tekken,I truly can say albeit I have not been serious about play in approximately 6-7 years when I met this Tekken crowd albeit I have been playing this game since the mid-90’s and to be honest I enjoy the competition,but if there is one thing I have learned from the SF crowd is to have fun and keep it together,I am not understanding for what reason things are the way they are but there are some decnet players out here in Omaha and if given the time we all could get a WHOLE lot better if we could all get together if we spent more time playing each other on a consistent basis.I would seriously like to volunteer my home and set a weekly meeting either Friday,Saturday or Sunday works best for everyone to meet up and get together,not just for my own benefit but for everyone’s.Hell,if I remember correctly when I met Reg,I ebelive he would have been 16ish and shit his game has gotten a lot better,but considering for whatever reasons I fell off the scene.I don’t want that to happen,if at all possible,if anyone needs me to come where you are or if we can designate a central meeting place let me know I just called some of you guys and I need to know are weekly meetings cool?
Weekly meetings would be a nice jumping off point but y’all definitely need to be gettin’ people haungry for some sweet knowledge. You’se can’t be all laying down on yo’ laurels and stuff just ‘cos you can hayashida step wit’ Nina…you need to Rock ‘N’ roll wit that…y’feel me?
