Looks like Hakan is going to be the man to beat, outside of Dudley.
Early looks from the retail version of the game have Dudley at the top, followed by Hakan and Sagat. Maybe this will make the game a bit less of a one character game.
No improvements to either Guile or Ken, and they nerf’d Gen??? They took out his chain into hands, s.mk into hands.? That sort of baffles me a little bit.
Took out most if not all of the trade into Ultra’s. So alot of the scrub Ryu and Sagat players are going to get a taste of reality.
Chun-li gets a ton of new stuff and actually has moved into top tier because of them, they say she is the most improved of all the original characters.
Balrog gets no changes and his U2 is useless as you can jump on reaction to get out of it.
Vega keeps his claw a little longer but can no longer go through opponents via the wall dive.
Lots of changes but no real balances other than the Ryu and Sagat trade removals.
i can’t wait to play this game for like 2 months, then stop playing it again >:(
Soooo I’m guessing Omaha wasn’t planning on coming to KC for a house tournament this Saturday? I haven’t made any official plans with the other KC heads because we haven’t gotten a definite response. I’m going to assume ‘no’, and just run our Friday hookup as usual.
we will see when the game comes out…idk about u guys but i don’t believe what a bunch of nerds who played for an hour or 2 have to say about a game that hasn’t come out yet.
