Anyone know of any GOOD players in Lincoln that I could contact to get some regular sparring/play in with? I just moved here from Los Angeles, and although I know we have FFC in Omaha, we don’t have DICK in Lincoln. So I’m looking to organize some get togethers and potentially some tournaments (I have access to several venues).
But I feel like a kid lost in the dark, as I only have A buddy to play with (who’s not a scrub).

I don’t really know any good players in Lincoln (I go to Creighton), but if you host a tournament…woo hoo!
Is the SF4 scene here dead or something? It seems there aren’t many players in Omaha and even fewer tournaments, if any. Do people just meet at FFC to play? I’m coming back to Creighton in August and want to play SF4.
A buddy and I plan to recreate Gooteck’s Bar Fights here in Lincoln and I’d suspect we may have the first event up by August. Looking to run some SF4 & BB - Probably run some MvC2 as well once it’s released.
Aside from that, I’d like to run a few local tournaments (I actually have a ton of experience doing so), stream them out, and try to beef up the Midwest Fighting Game presence. It’s kinda depressing not having a legitimate arcade in Lincoln, and I can only make it down to FFC so often.
I’ll be sure to let everyone know as soon as plans surface. If any Omalink players wanna get together and spar, please hit me up!
PS - Does FFC have SF4, BB, T6? I haven’t been there since I’ve come back.
Best you’ll find is 11-1 friday and saturday nights, there should be 5-10 players there.

Most of people moved (me), got older, and some just fell off (Pudge). Some stayed but a lot of you “OG’s” can get homo about new people comin in. Like you alienate people because they either, “haven’t been comin up to the center as long as us (since ST)”, or never won any local, Midwest Division, South D. or EVO tournaments. 9/10, neither have most of you “OG’s”. So, what’s your point?
