The NEW Official Arcade Stick Art Thread NO IMAGE QUOTING!

http://www.joystickvault.com/showfull.php?photo=19

@sakabato24 its not for the te, its for my arcade in a box stick. btw the te does have a 100 percent straight lineup for the buttons to the right.
@butteroj thanks

I recently bought a WWE Brawlstick on the cheap to attempt my first mod. Came out alright I reckon.

Anyone done seen any Xmen-Vs-Street Fighter artwork ? I like Cyclops / Magneto / Sabretooth … Im looking for something that will go with my red joystick & red / Black buttons.

Also has anyone seen any Rival Schools artwork ?

Anyone know where you would get a Lami-Label done in the UK ?

clearly, but I’m still interested to be honest, just curious how much it’ll cost too and what the dimensions will be.

Also does anyone know some kind of black magic that will make my buttons fit? they’re like 90/80% of the way in and stop before the rim can reach the plexi, I don’t want to push it for fear of breaking the plexi

I just got a bottom plexi for my TE and I want to add some art. How does one go about requesting artwork. I just wanted something simple. A black background with a white Mad Catz “slash” logo, and then have the slashes outlined with like a silver glow.

So me and my friend went for a simpler approach rather than the other one.

That’s the result.

Anyone have the Madcatz Asia Import TE button labels for PS3? I’ve looked all over, I’d appreciate it! Or any non-white PS3 button labels will do as well! Thanks

You still don’t have feets…

you’re supposed to shave off the 4 nubs under the lip of the buttons. Get an exacto knife or even a kitchen knife will work

well bunchies i will say it does look a lot better, but i still dont lie the way it looks, for instance as an artist, like soothsayer said, without feet it just looks awkward to me, not to mention the dude in the middle, second one from the left, peoples legs aren’t angled like that, the positioning is off, his knee is pointing in a direction that’s probably not possible with out some kind of fracture. But if you really wish to continue with this work id say keep a simple background, and keep it mostly white there is to much going on with the people for anything else, those are my thoughts but i’m no expert on stick art design

Feels just a bit too empty for me, maybe try adding those ripped paper things of the characters that appear on the main menu when you complete an act?
Also fuck yeah Lilly.

Oh well. I’m sure people will understand.

Exactly, it’ll cost me like 30-35 bucks to print a 24x36 inch poster around here. Sorry about the messed up post before, I was posting from my phone and had trouble deleting the image and replying…lol @ me.

why not scale up all the images with no feet and scale down the one with feet? The proportion of each pose has no relation to each other

See now why does no guide/video mention this like at all. These are the inside tips I need

If going for simple I like it with just a slightly modified background and removing the two characters in the bottom right. There really is no purpose for them to be on there. You could perhaps create a pattern out of those characters outlines and then put them over a solid olive green to create your background. It fixes both problems at the same time.

@ soothsayer, man I totally agree with you. Knowing that = major headache saver. I read one guide mentioning it and then had to ask some modders around if they agreed. Which they all did.

I saw it in a few tutorials. Artshobbies even mentions it in his plexi care section

well I filed down the 4 nubs but the button still won’t lock into place. And now they’re falling out.

I’d like some feedback on this…

What I’m concerned about the most is whether or not the type will print well with the stroke as thin as it is. Other than that, how is it? What would you guys suggest I do to improve it?
