P.S I’m never ever watching a Jackie Chan produced movie/tv.show again in my life. He acted in a movie called “The Myth” which was mediocre to begin with. He decides to turn it into a 50 episode tv drama (be the producer). Completely bombed it. Fuck you Jackie stick to acting I don’t’ want you making anything anymore!

Ended up watching Dragon Tiger Gate instead…For some reason it took me a couple years to finally watch this…It was actually not too bad…
Dragon Tiger Gate was a little too corny and anime for me
But my goal is mostly just to improve my chinese listening and reading comprehension, so it served its purpose.

Gah what was that newer movie that came out this year or last year, that showed lots of breakdancing in old china or possibly korea? It had a guy dressed up in ragged clothing and the trailer just had lots and LOTS of breakdance.

The greatest MA film of all time is still The Prodigal Son. Funny that out of Jackie, Sammo and Yuen, Yuen was the lead in the best film out of the three. I also like Legend Of The wolf but only for the claw fight scene near the end which shouldve been the last fight in my opinion.
For sword/weapon fighting its a toss up between Blade Of Fury and Fire Dragon.
I’ve got the Guan Yu movie right now, my barber just gave it to me because he didnt want it.

I saw a trailer for a movie called My Kingdom (I think). Sammo was doing the choreography for it. It’s one of those movie during the Shanghai era . Hopefully it won’t suck becuase I like that era.
Seriously, they were watching it on 42inch flat screen at the barbers just across from my house. I asked if I could borrow it and he just gave it to me. Its legit DVD quality with english and Mandarin (or Cantonese) subtitles.
Man I have had that for a whole minute and still haven’t sit down to watch it.
I’m a little disappointed in Vanquisher. It’s not quite what I was hoping for.
