No one likes those money hungry fiends and no one wants to support a tournament who doesn’t care about player requests. I basically say fuck them. They charge spectator fees but you can’t play casuals. They charge a $10 venue fee but no outside food is allowed but they sell food inside the store. The reason they don’t allow it is because they don’t want people spilling that stuff on their carpets which doesn’t make sense because if you spill something of theirs on the floor I guess it’s fine.

They suck as people so fuck them and fuck that shitty venue.

Sick of playing SSFIV and Tekken with the same 3 people on xblive and while I’d welcome more people to play with on live I’d rather have a local group to play with. Would also be nice playing without having to deal with connection issues since one of them is in the UK and the other is in TX…

I’m really patient when it comes to learning new games so I’d be up for anything really. Either way I’ll be on the look out for stuff I can travel to easily.

There are a lot of really good players that live near you. It’s really easy to find other people to play if you go to the Break weeklies. A lot of the players live near Newark.

I’ve been living in Newark for like 3 years (from Manhattan) and don’t know aaanything about NJ. I don’t have a car (true Manhattanite) but it looks super easy to get to from Newark Penn.

The very same place! And the Dunellen train station is RIGHT across the street from the break. There are tournaments there every tuesday with great competition. Check it out sometime (like tomorrow night).

Nah, I generally can’t but if that changes I’ll definitely make some sort of interest check post. It’ll have to be some evening where I don’t have to worry about people bitching that they have to go to work the next day.
