btw the 2nd cabinet for third strike seems to have a bad fierce punch button, it will still come out occasionally but not consistantly…=( anybody else have that problem?

uh maybe its bc most of us have been going to the break for 10+ years and know stuff doesn’t get fixed. phi used to fix everything and put his own money into keeping up the machines but he is gone now. before phi todd did it.

owners great and all but the quality of machines are real bad. some decisions don’t make sense (swapping out mvc2 for some weird game with robots, never fixing 3s even though its one of the only games people play, etc.)

Break on Friday/Saturday nights sometimes, and sometimes Tuesday nights…otherwise just whenever I feel like letting people over my house.

I think Phil, Stephen, Shawn and Pat play a lot at NB.

I don’t know how bad Tekken 6 is, he was just being general. Plus you can bring a controller to plug in.

I went to The Break recently and I enjoyed my experience there. Didn’t notice anything wrong with any of the machines. But it’s not like I played every single one.

The Tekken 6 machine there is great in my opinion. Nice big HDTV and PS2 ports. I played with a PS2 controller, so I’m not sure how good the sticks on it are. My friend who was playing on stick enjoyed it just fine.

Anyway, I do recommend checking out The Break, Roy0. Lots of good games and the Tekken 6: BR machine alone is enough to go. If you want a data card for it, go to the counter where they serve food/drinks.
