Yup, but the only problem is that Toki hit you once with 2A, his combo almost always put you in the corner:sad: You have to have some plans in corner situation. At least you know what options Toki has against you and how to counter those optioins.
That’s right! Even after Toki did a 70% combo after 214A/B reversal, DO NOT HESITATE when you have a chance to attack because of that. Blocking Toki’s 2A is never fun.
Well for characters other than Raoh, I have seen Japanese players doing wake up 44 to dodge Toki’s 2A okizeme and that works sometimes especially when they get up in the center. I wonder if there is anyway to use a boost to move the character back in and interrupt Toki’s following attacks. Like Shin’s 44 boost 63214A would be ideal.
I’m pretty sure this has been linked before but…
these scans have helped me understand normals and other stuff, so
I highly recommend looking at these babies!
Reversal 623CE with Ken is beefy because his DP executes FAST as hell. You can also do 44 623CE but that’s a bit flakey. Ken’s C DP is just great in general though.
For Raoh vs Toki I think you pretty much stick to what I’ve always done, which is jump around with j.B a lot, and be careful of the high parry. If you connect with j.B, you win! If you bait a high parry, you win!
I will be playing this game once I get my copy shipped to me. Quick question, can someone explain to me what all these numbers mean, like 6622ABC etc? Also, how are the arcade controls setup?
The numbers correspond to the direction you put the stick in. For a reference, just look at the numpad on your keyboard. So for instance, the Fatal KO command. It’s qcf+CD. In number notation that’s 236CD.
I’ve been lurking around here too…the next game I also am looking forward to getting into. I tell you guys I believe in giving every game an equal opportunity.
