Yeah, not at all convinced it’s an infinite. They drop with each hit, weight gets higher and you won’t be able to keep them up because 2C is just not fast enough of a move.
It IS pretty close to a 100% though, so it’s still a nice combo.
look at them bounce!!! lmao, the Japanese sure love to break this game. But for turning the opponent into a basketball, Rei is officially god tier IMO.
Just got my modded green goblin agetecs in today so everything is set for Fist of the North Star/Rumble Fish 2 casuals/money matches/tourney(if there is enough interest) for Evo. I’ll be at Suncoast Thursday night then at Redrock Fri-Sun. Looking forward to some good games with everyone who attends. If you need my cell number just get at me with a PM before 4pm tomorrow or hit me up on aim at Hydra632.
For point 1 and 2, ppl blocks souther’s C+D all the time. It’s neither fast nor tricky(Juda’s Mirrorbreaker is damn annoying). Unless you are facing an aggressive IAD Rei. Souther’s raw C+D rarely hits people. When I use Souther, I totally rely on C+D so I know.
For point 3, we have 236A>236C>C+D+E>~ I usually goes for 2C x 2~3> (stand C> 623C) x N > A+C > 2147A. It’s stable, -3 stars, does tons of damage and most important, a lot of “Mhahahaha” noise.
“Air 214A > C+D” in wake up game? I do that too much:sweat: Just beware opponent’s Agility Defense(or Just Defend). Seriously you have better options, though more complicate, in wake up game. Gwyrgyn Blood did a great job killing me with mid/low guessing game in Otakon:looney: Souther is waaaaaay too fast at mid/low mix.
No. Ken may have a few Shoto style moves, but he doesn’t really play Shoto at all. Raoh isn’t even remotely like Sagat in any way. Both characters are quite good though.
Last boss is Raoh. Only difference is that he gets 2 new beam supers, and when you get close to defeating him, he explodes and gets a whole new life bar, all his stars back, and infinite super bars (or at least they go up to full too).
Probably not. Practicality of this is yet to be seen, although it could be pretty useful. Take all of this ‘broken stuff’ with a grain of salt. Not saying that the game ISN’T broken, just that a lot of this stuff isn’t as useful as you’d think it was.
While the game’s high level play is pretty shadey, the mid-level play (the kind of level you’d be playing at for 1+ years as an American) is a lot of fun. Toki runs the game at any point, but you can deal with him. Play with friends, as you would any non-serious fighting game you’d play.
Yeah, you can do it any round so as long as you have taken away all of your opponent’s stars, but no, you just win the round when you do it, not the whole match.
I put a new version of the move list up at gamef@qs. Changes since the last version (well, since december, really) are very minor but I thought I’d mention it. Scope the Jagi strategy note, too.
Also, there are videos of a bunch of dustloop cats playing over here: http://www.youtube.com/user/AHOJagi
