Iāll probably do that when I get the Xbox One X next month. CODWW2 is an unorganized disaster. For me, the connectivity issues since launch, features like HQ not working properly as advertised, atrocious UI design, and terrible map design is enough to justify my decision to go back to playing BO3 and IW (yeah I went there lol). 
They also shrunk the sizes of the maps in WW2 so it still feels like the past few games of just running around aimlessly like a god damn moron. Everything it just psychological shit to make you think the game is different when it really isnāt. It is the same shit with even more micro transaction bullshit and of course there will be superior weapons in the loot boxes again.
I āplayedā CoD for more than two hours last night. Got two whole matches in between the disconnects and getting booted from the lobby.
Those two matches were fun though.
I only play War game mode. So far its the only one that isnāt fucked by spawns and thereās a clear objective. Game just needs bigger player count. How are they not able to push 18 in every game mode now? At least War lets me level up fast. With 2XP I get about 30k a game average.
Had flak jackets been issued, I wonder how well pistol rounds or SMG users would doā¦

Maybe in āfutureā CoDs you can get away with that shit, not in WW2 where you are punished for sprinting almost. IIRC, no Supply Drop only weapon had been OP or better than the base weapons in said game. BO3 was shitty cause it put good weapons behind lootboxes.

Ok so I just went into more matchesā¦and unfortunately the game still feels very bland. I donāt know if changing the formula so much was a good idea. SHG made a CoD that still could have been fun in WWII but they didnāt I fear much of the more fun content is waiting in the wingsā¦behind more paywalls. more streaks, more guns, etc. Went back again to BO3ā¦Like night and day even if I take out all DLC.
In a way based on how the Dev teams are set, if things were to be ideal, One team does the past, one does the future, one does the modern. Even this canāt happen as Activision I felt kinda fucked up their own cycle. IW Had the past and modern down until MW2 happened and thatās when the shake up started. MW3 was as I look back too much MW but it was playable. with IW now pastā¦IWā¦I felt like they didnāt know how to do space and really shouldnāt have tried to. SHG helped with MW3 and then pushed into the future with AW. Looking back at that, they had some fun ideas but the movement style was tooā¦jittery for my taste. Still they crafted a series that again wasnāt too badā¦just different and now again Activision shitted that because they forced WWII. AW2 could have been good to have even if it meant another future warfare game. Sadly this current one just was trying to be too different. Treyarch grew from their terrible CoD3 to a passable CoD5 (WaW). From there, the different but still familiar BO1 and to the beloved BO2 to the still played and very deep BO3. Each game they keep building on what works and thatās great. IW I felt just keeps chasing their former glory days never really making anything new or fresh anymore. SHG is now probably going to be stuck being told what to make after this cycle is over.
Itās now a time to be cautiously optimistic for whatever Treyarch will do nextā¦as from what it seems. Just Hope Activision doesnāt kill their 3rd golden goose.
They will. Call me pessimistic, but unless the concept of Loot Boxes becomes so dirty companies forego them altogether in 2018, I see Activision sinking to new, undiscovered lows. I was hype for BO4 or whatever too until 2017 really sunk it in my head that not only are Loot Boxes not going away, the companies profiting from them will always dig harder next go-around. Activision will find a way to fuck up BO4 in a way thatās irredeemable, and wonāt care as long as sales are good.
You know whatās atrocious? MWRās personalisation and armory.
Why is too difficult to obtain an item like a mac10 without spending every cod point and beyond!!
The only way weāre going to get the full value from WW2 is to pay top dollar for a season pass
and an upgraded console.
Wouldnāt be my issue if the base title didnāt seem so lacking. An anomaly here is that a decade old predacessor re-release outshines this TOTAL BS.
yeah im getting gt sport instead of the new cod, only the second time i havent gotten a new cod on launch (ghosts) and first time i skipped one altogether, and i started playing with mw2. im not done enjoying iw and bo3, and i still fire up AWs zombies mode time and again. thats enough cod to last me til the next iteration, where they either go MW4 or another future one

Finally got this gameā¦its not as bad as i was xpecting but way worse than i hoped. Wtf are these shotguns??
