Honestly, even with 6 or 7 we can do an 8 person bracket, just a couple people would have to get first round byes (Pryde/other top finisher of the last tournament). It really depends on what people prefer (I’m sure most would prefer brackets). As of now, if there are 6+ then we do brackets, unless there are any complaints.

Hi Boston Players my name is Enddy and i come from Dominican Republic. i want to play MVC2 with you guys. I had almost two years without playing MVC2 but im practicing right now and im getting better but not 100%.

What’s up man. The best place to play is Good Time Emporium on Friday nights in Somerville. The address of Good Times is at their website (http://www.goodtimeemporium.com). We usually have at least 4-5 regulars on Fridays and the skill level is pretty good. The only other good comp for games there is for KOF 2003, so you’re pretty much stuck with Marvel. How long are you in Boston? We plan on having a tournament next Friday and expect a turnout of 10+ people. Hope to see you there Friday night.

So we had a shitty turnout last tournament. REALLY shitty. I’m willing to get past it. THIS tournament, however, will be the greatest of them all. Does Pryde have what it takes to defend his title? Will he even show up, or will his wisdom teeth OCV him? Will Salem come back and own us like they did before? Will a Salem vs. Anomaly money match finally go down??? Are the Ongs back in full effect? Rules:
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 - double elimination**, 2 out of 3, 3 out of 5 for winner’s finals, 3 out of 5 for loser’s finals, 4 out of 7 for grand finals.
All standard rules apply to MVC2 i.e. only Juggs glitch, no game breaking glitches, etc…
*Order switching only allowed first time you pick a team for switch trick. After that you CANNOT switch order until that team dies and you pick a new team.
** IF 6 or less people show up for the tournament, it will be a best of 3 round robin tournament. Everyone will play each other. Winner will be who ever has the most wins. If there is a tie between two players… a best out of seven playoff will take place between the two people that tied. Winner will take all the money unless the majority of participants have a problem with that.
