What is SBO?
Super Battle Opera. It’s a huge videogame tournament event that happens once a year in Tokyo, Japan.
However if we do indeed qualified for SBO then we need to gather all our resources just to be able to make it to Japan, food, place to sleep, and then get back home. That’s in case we do qualify. :karate:
SBO is the Super Battle Opera tourney in Japan. The insanely huge international competition with the high profile names and stuff. On a side note, I’m gonna be playing T5 now, something about Kazuya. I’ll be there this sunday (1/30) maybe someone could help me out and teach me the ropes, as I’ve never played a Tekken game since 4 years ago.

sbo is like the jap evo pretty much. without cvs2 that is (i heard). because cfe replaced it (i heard again).

Hey chris stop by the arcade before you head to the meeting because I might be there(don’t quote me on that)so I can get a ride back to V-town. I’ll call you if I’m there or on the way there. If you don’t respond to this by 12:00 pm tommorow(last time I can check at work), I probably won’t go.

I’m also going to bring Tekken3. I finally got that game back for the PS and now my good memories of playing Tekken have returned.

Just1Moe has been playing P Cammy, Blanka and R2 Sak for an anti A groove. Also Chris got boots for anna. Oh and that other guy (Not Mark) that works at tilt was LET GO.

Jaguarandine and Leezy Thanks Leezy, Ill take that advise. I am taking ----- advise on character development. That’s Ive been playing that scrub in / scrub out team for the past couple of weeks. It is paying off; I do see a lot of improvement. Eithway, it hurts me when I play that team at tilt and dont lose on it.
Anyways, I use to play P groove a long time ago and was just as good as I am with K groove. Guys, in Oregon/Washington/Canada (Northwest) inspired me to want to play P again. D-side is good with it but lifetime boy and this guy named Ray just rapes people in P. Ray uses, Guile, Rayden and Bison. Who uses Guile and Rayden in P groove? WTF.
Anyways, I guess I making this a long post due to my lack of posting. I went up to Oregon this weekend. Came back down with one of my somewhat reliable cars. JUST1MOE is going more mobile. Anyways, Dan and I will be trying to hit up all tournaments this month.
Leezy, I guess I’ll be seeing you more often at Bearcade then at Solano mall Tilt.

As far as your CvS2, I think you should ditch P and K and start using A-groove Dan, Zangief, and R2 Kyosuke for good measure. That team would make serious tournament noise. That’s just my opinion of course.
Anyone intrested in a $40 holdem game? SO far I have about 9 peeps intrested, just finding out if anyone here is intrested as well.
I’ve since some interesting combos with A Kyosuke but far as Dan in A groove… not to sure about that. He’s Hella good in any running groove. I think Mark told me once of a guy named Guntier who uses A Zangief… I’ve never seen any good A groove combo’s with Zangief at all but i bet this Guntier guy would prove me wrong.
