Well Tekken5 tournaments seem to be appearing rambundant. If any 707 Tekken player is interested in coming to the Newpark Tilt tourney next Saturday then please let me know. They will also have a CvS2 tourney.
Anyone that doesn’t have a ride, Phillip and Aaron…once again I can hook you guys up with a ride to that tourney if you are interested. I’ll be at the Tilt today just to get my Witch Hat.

melty blood react is dope as hell, it plays similar to GGXX i think. like teching after getting comboed and shit. its fun but its for PC only. they are comin out with an arcade version though
Yeah, other than the recovery system, there’s nothing in common. 
I’ll be at the Tilt early tomorrow. Going through the TekkenZaibatsu forums, I figured out what the main problem is with the card readers on Tekken5. It’s either the wire connections to the card readers aren’t all the way in or there isn’t enough power coming from the connection.
If it’s the 2nd problem not getting enough power from the wire connections, then a extra computer power source will fix up the problem. I’m hoping for problem A and just reconnect the wires firmly to the card readers.
Does anyone have a copy of this game I can try out?

heh…the only reason i think it resembles ggxx is probably because i was looking for ggxx vids (on yukinose’s website) and stumbled upon it.

Sorry for the Double PM Just1Moe. My DSL was acting up a bit. Tekken5 machine is fine, I guess they already figured out the problem with the card readers.
I’ll be there tomorrow once again for Tekken5 practice. Also a minor note that the Tekken5 SVGL regional tourney is on Feb,26th. Yeah it’s been delayed a bit but this is actually good news not just for me but for Phillip and other 707 Tekken players that are in need of practice/training.

Are there any other games out with card readers like tekken 5 and Initial D?
I believe that’s the only two games that do have cards. Unless we do manage to get a VF4 Final Tuned machine with card readers but there is no way that is going to happen since you have to import the machine.

CVS2 is good in SF @ Pier39. When I say good, i mean the sticks are in working order.
Anyways, hey Yushiro, You should check out the T5 Comp, everytime i go there it seems like it’s Popping on that machine. But I guess we go go enough comp at our Tilt, Right?
