Congrats to BLK_BROTHA for representing at our local gamecrazy winning a hard fought battle against close to 40 challengers. Although the tournament brought in plenty of scrubby players it was still an uphill battle for our Ahrmon (I will edit this if I spelled your name wrong :bgrin: )

To start the tournament was ran by a bunch of idiots, they brought in a big HDTV with at least 2 frames of lag also we were forced to use the controllers and shitty sticks provided by the store. Ahrmon picked rufus and fought at a furious pace and calculated maneuvers. Switching back and forth from controller to joystick Ahrmon managed to execute his way flawlessly to the finals.

The Semi-finals were best of three against a very decent chun-li but we looked at the tapes before he played her and knew what the game plan was, jump and win.

The finals went the distance against a very unpredictable zangief but Ahrmon made the first game look like cake. The second game was close and everybody was screaming and it looked like a real street fight because people were on the other side of the store which is separated by a chain link fence, you could feel it the ether in the air. It seemed as the gief player had alot of fans alot of his friends were there but although are family was a little smaller our competitive blood was thick. Ahrmon kept his composure and went for high risk high reward executions throwing gief reputedly and countering giefs ultra with a sickly timed overhead. At the end an ex-messiah with the flash finished it. Ahrmon turned around and said “I did it for you guys!” hugs hand slaps and pounds went around. Then he said GIVE ME THAT XBOX ELITE RIGHT NOW!

Its a long post because he deserves it. Congratulations Ahrmon

The tournament was @ game crazy on sonoma blvd. mayn that shit was hype tho on some real-ish. We had 1st timers whoopin the champ from benica LOL. and my lil’ nephew roasted on him hella bad.
