Are the joysticks going to be fixed or replace in time for the tourney…I think i actually might make it to this one

Im not going to the tourney. I have nothing to prove here, 1 moe if you wanna play me for money we’ll do it another time I will play you for as much as you want. As for tyrams post about who’s the best in the 707 , LOL I disagree but im still not going to that tourney ,good try though tyler LOL. Hey James, I think you kinda took that one the wrong way. I’m not sure if moe meant it like that(I’ll take this back if he did). Anyway It would be cool if you or your brother had time to show up on saturday to support the community, not like you guys have to prove anything, because you are the best in the 707 area. Anyway it’d be cool to play you guys and it’d be cool if you could support the 707 community, thats all I’m saying.

I think tournies are not only about seeing who’s the best, but also learning how you can better your game and abilities, and meeting other players. If someone wants to think they’re “above” a certain tourney, I guess that’s ok. Just keep in mind you wouldn’t have gotten that good without beating up on the countless fools who do show up.
It’s pretty rare when all of 707’s cvs2 players all come to the same tourney. There sometimes isn’t even enough. Kinda sad really, considering the number of players we have. We could actually get pretty decent, skill-wise. If players truly want to become a force (like I know some do) in the bay, then it should start right here. Make an effort. Thanks.
Phillip: The only way and I mean the only way that your going to get good at CvS2 is by playing at SVGL where I believe it’s one of the best places to play against most of the good CvS2 players on certain days, or playing against James or Dan (Spider-Dan). Basically if Ricky Ortiz does come to this tourney, it’s sad to say this but it’s already over. I highly doubt he is going to come though since he mostly plays at SVGL or travels to the other big tourneys.
James is still one of the best 707 CvS2 players around and still have mad respect for him. As for my situation, well my cold is really rushing me down yet I was able to get some decent Tekken5 practice with my Anna. Good games overall on T5 with that one player from San Francisco. Even though the VF4 Evo controls are wacky, it was nice seeing him again showing some VF4 stuff.
Depending on how I feel this week, I may not be able to make it for this tournament. I’m also trying to travel to Modesto either tomorrow or Wednesday for some job interviews which I’m hoping to get hired full time. Afterwards most likely playing Tekken5 at Modesto Boomers.
Ah, didn’t make it today…which player from SF that plays VF? It’s not Shou is it?
It wasn’t Shou, it was a black dude that plays VF4 Evo, CvS2, MvC2, and some Tekken5. I forgot the name but he rarely goes to any of the online forums.

Ok according to Neal (Tilt Manager), there will be a brand new 8-way in the player 1 side of CVS2 tomorrow morning. I will be at the tourney for sure for cvs2.
As far as putting “2k5” in the title, I don’t really think it is necessary so I left it out. As far as I remember there wasn’t “2k3” or “2k2”, so fuck it. And yeah, I am all about getting better and playing more people. Like Jaguar said, if we could get all our locals to come to one tourney that shit would be crackin. :wow:
